Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to this place on Calle Juan Sebastián Elcano – the street’s pretty quiet and you might even walk past it if you’re not paying attention. But once you get inside this two-bedroom apartment, it’s actually a really solid setup, especially if you’re traveling with family or friends who need some space to spread out.

The location is what really makes this spot work. Los Remedios isn’t touristy at all (which I mean as a compliment), and you’re basically living like locals do in one of Seville’s nicer neighborhoods. The Guadalquivir is literally right there – and I’m talking about the good stretch where people jog and cycle, not some industrial part. You can walk to the river in maybe two minutes, which is perfect for morning coffee or evening strolls when the heat dies down. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel room, you know? Two proper bedrooms, a kitchen that’s actually functional (rare in vacation rentals, trust me), and enough living space that you’re not constantly bumping into each other. The decor is pretty standard modern stuff – nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. What I appreciated was that everything worked properly… the AC was strong enough for Seville summers, hot water was consistent, and the WiFi didn’t cut out every five minutes.

Here’s what you should know practically speaking: parking can be tricky in this area, but there’s usually street parking if you circle around a bit. The building’s entrance is secure but not intimidating, and check-in was straightforward – no fumbling around with lockboxes or confusing instructions. You’re about a 15-minute walk to the cathedral and all that tourist stuff, but honestly, some of my favorite meals were at the little tapas places right in Los Remedios. There’s this spot called Bar Santos just a few streets over that locals actually go to, not just tourists who wandered over from the center. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet at night (in a good way), so you’ll sleep well, but it’s never dead – there’s always a bit of life on the streets, especially on weekends when families are out walking after dinner. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me because this place delivers on what it promises without any surprises, good or bad. It’s not going to wow you with luxury touches, but it won’t disappoint you either. If you want to experience Seville more like residents do rather than staying in some generic hotel near all the monuments, this apartment gives you that authentic neighborhood feel while still being close enough to walk everywhere you’ll want to go.

  The place is very clean. A very nice apartment for family. location is safe for cars. The place is 12min walk to plaza españa . not suitable walking during summer 44 degrees. Its on the other side of the bridge .

  Justo lo que esperábamos, lástima que habían obras en la calle y siendo laborables, antes de las 8 ya era difícil descansar…pero todo muy bien! Y cerca de todos los sitios y bien comunicado
