You know what caught me off guard about Aguilas5 SevillaSuites? The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of quiet that’s honestly rare when you’re staying right in the thick of Seville’s old town. I mean, you’re literally on Águilas street – tucked between the maze of narrow cobblestone alleys that tourists spend hours getting lost in – but somehow the sound just… disappears once you’re through the door. The building itself has that solid, thick-walled feel that only comes with centuries-old Sevillian architecture, which probably explains why you can actually sleep through the night despite being a stone’s throw from some of the city’s busiest tapas spots.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how they’ve figured out the suite thing without making it feel like a sterile apartment rental. Each room has this lived-in elegance – think restored period details mixed with actually functional modern touches. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show (I actually used mine for morning coffee and late-night snacks from the Mercado del Arenal), and the bathrooms have proper water pressure, which honestly can be hit-or-miss in this part of town. The staff clearly knows their stuff about the neighborhood too – they pointed me toward this tiny ceramics shop on Calle Sierpes that I never would’ve found otherwise, and their restaurant recommendations were spot-on. No generic tourist traps, just places where locals actually eat.

Location-wise, you’re basically in the sweet spot of old Seville without being right on top of the cathedral crowds. It’s maybe a five-minute walk to the Alcázar (closer to three if you know the shortcuts through the Jewish quarter), but you’re far enough from the main tourist drag that you get to see how the neighborhood actually breathes. I loved walking back in the evenings – there’s something magical about those narrow streets when the daytrippers have cleared out and the locals are settling in for dinner. The 9.6 rating makes total sense once you stay here; it’s one of those places that just gets the details right without making a big show of it. Fair warning though – if you’re coming during Semana Santa or the April Fair, book way ahead. This isn’t the kind of place that stays available last-minute during peak season, and honestly, after staying here once, you’ll understand why people come back year after year.

  Spacious, comfortable, well appointed apartment in a great location. Great service with help on local eating options and sights to see. Service desk is attended 9am – 9pm daily.

  Most of all the staff, Herman was as kind and helpful as could be. The location is Spot X, perfect for enjoying all Seville has to offer, and we were very comfortable. We cannot imagine having picked a better place to stay

  Great interior decoration, pleasant feeling of an oasis away from busy streets. Nice airy rooms with all comforts needed. Great roof terrace with small pool that worked very well for our kids. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great vibe.

  Our stay at Aguilas5 SevillaSuites was exceptional. Our hosts – Jose and German – treated us with the highest respect, granted us with the greatest care, and directed us to the best sights, restaurants, and activities as though we were their family or friends. Nothing was too much trouble. They were responsive within minutes to every request. They even booked a hairdresser appointment on my behalf. The premium suite is beautiful, and clean to the highest standard. The photos do not do the apartment justice. It is far superior to the photos. The location was at the heart of the old town – everything was within ten minutes walk. The cathedral, palace, gardens, flamenco. We would recommend this apartment and the hosts to anyone travelling to this beautiful city. For sure we will return to Aguilas5 SevillaSuites. Thank you German and Jose.
