Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about the Alfalfa Deluxe Suite? It’s tucked away on this narrow street—Calle Augusto Plasencia—that most tourists probably walk right past without noticing. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Seville’s old town, but it feels like you’ve stumbled onto some local secret. The building itself has that weathered Andalusian charm where you can actually see layers of history in the stonework, and honestly, walking up to it for the first time gave me those butterflies you get when you think you might have found something special.
The suites themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully done—not trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect, but clearly someone put real consideration into the details. The rooms have these gorgeous high ceilings that actually keep things cool (which, trust me, matters in Seville summers), and the windows open onto views of rooftops and church spires that look exactly like what you picture when you think “authentic Spain.” What really won me over was the kitchen setup—it’s not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation, but an actually functional space where you could make a proper breakfast with those amazing tomatoes from the Feria market just a few blocks away. The beds are legitimately comfortable too, which I always worry about in boutique places that prioritize style over sleep.
Location-wise, you’re positioned perfectly for the real Seville experience. The Cathedral and Alcázar are close enough that you’ll probably walk past them multiple times without even trying, but you’re also near the kinds of tapas bars where locals actually eat—not just the tourist traps around Plaza de Armas. I loved being able to wander down to Calle Betis along the river in the evenings, and if you’re into the whole Flamenco scene, there are some authentic venues within easy walking distance that most hotel concierges don’t even know about. Fair warning though—this is old town Seville, so expect some street noise, especially during festival season. But honestly? The sounds of people living their lives, church bells, and the occasional guitar drifting up from the street kind of adds to the whole experience. Just pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The staff really knows their stuff too—not in that overly rehearsed way, but like they genuinely live in the city and want you to discover the good stuff. That 8.6 rating makes total sense to me; it’s the kind of place that gets the important things right without any unnecessary fuss.

The hosts were communicative and waiting for us on arrival. The flat is beautiful – a real little taste of Spain. It is within walking distance of the main shopping and tourist areas and just a few metres away from a grocery store. We appreciated the air conditioning!
What could be improved: We needed some instructions for some of the appliances!Louise from United Kingdom – 17 April 2023 (9/10)
Fantastic location in central position yet very quiet .
Parking space a bonus
What could be improved: Difficult to locate garageBjorn from Netherlands – 17 February 2023 (9/10)
Friendly and helpful staff. Very big and clean suite on a great location.
What could be improved: Parking was difficult to find in very narrow streets, too narrow for bigger carsMichael from United Kingdom – 30 September 2022 (9/10)
Location good, everything was as good if not better than expected ,

What could be improved: Problematic parking due to the location.Jonathan from Spain – 31 August 2022 (9/10)
The property is very spacious, old fashioned, and well appointed. Central A/C with balconies and plenty of beds.
Illana from South Africa – 8 July 2024 (9/10)
Lovely location, great shared areas – spacious and comfortable.
What could be improved: The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are very small – both with a single bed and a pull out base. When the base bed is pulled out, there is no space to move in the room, it is very tight for 2 people. The beds don't have headboards, so it is not comfortable to sit in bed and read and because the cupboard doors and windows open inwards, you can't move the bed.
The parking is a few minutes walk from the apartment, and the entrance is quite low, so a large vehicle (like a minivan) will not fit into the parking basement.Sam from United Kingdom – 20 January 2023 (7/10)
The apartment was nice and cosy a great location, everything nearby within walking distance a very traditional apartment marble floors traditional windows. The area is busy with plenty of bars and eateries, little noisey at night that's because due to the central location, Marta was a great host. There was some trouble with the heating unit. It was sorted immediately, overall a good experience.
What could be improved: Nothing really all good.Johanne from United Kingdom – 15 December 2022 (7/10)
the location was great and very spacious. The lady that met me to show me around was lovely.
What could be improved: the heating was on constantly and we couldn’t turn it off. it was so uncomfortable. I found chewing gum on the floor in the bedroom too so it clearly wasn’t fully cleaned.Alberto from Uruguay – 12 October 2024 (8/10)
Ubicación, higiene
What could be improved: Faltaban cubiertos para los 6 huéspedes
Para 6 adultos tendría que haber 2 juegos de llaves
