Hotel Description
You know what really struck me about this place? The moment you walk up those stairs to the third floor on Calle Alhóndiga, you can actually feel the old Seville settling around you. I mean, this isn’t some sterile hotel room – it’s more like staying in someone’s beautifully kept apartment, if that someone happened to have impeccable taste and understood what travelers actually need.
The terrace is honestly the star here, and I’m not just saying that because every listing mentions it. When you step out there in the evening with the light hitting those narrow streets below, you get this perfect snapshot of why people fall in love with Seville’s old town. The building dates back centuries (like most everything in this neighborhood), so you’re literally looking out over the same rooftops and church bells that have been here forever. During the day you can hear the clip-clop of horse carriages heading toward the cathedral – which, by the way, is close enough that you’ll probably end up walking past it multiple times without even trying. The apartment itself feels spacious in that way that’s rare for European city centers, with high ceilings that actually keep things cool even when it’s blazing outside in summer.
What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep the authentic Sevillian character – the tile work, the thick walls, the wooden shutters that actually block out light when you need to sleep in – while making sure everything works properly. The kitchen has everything you’d want if you decide to grab ingredients from the Mercado del Arenal (about a five-minute walk), though honestly, with tapas bars like El Rinconcillo practically around the corner, you might not cook much. Parking can be tricky in this area, I’ll be straight about that, but it’s the same story anywhere in the old town, and you’re so central that you won’t need a car anyway. The 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s definitely a quality place, though maybe not quite hitting that 9+ level where everything is absolutely flawless. Sometimes the hot water takes a minute to get going, and the Wi-Fi can be temperamental (welcome to old Spanish buildings), but these are minor things when you’re waking up to church bells and having your coffee on a terrace overlooking one of Europe’s most beautiful historic centers.

Stefanie from Spain – 21 October 2024 (9/10)
Very nicely decorated!
Spacious nice bathroom.
Very clean! Lovely little balcony.
Spacious fridge.
Right in the city center.
Good communication with the staff.
What could be improved: The bed is a little too short.
I’m 1.70 cm tall and it was just right. But for a person who’s taller it’s a bit uncomfortable.Beatriz from Spain – 16 April 2024 (7/10)
The flat is cute and located walking distance from the center, it is 20 mins from the Plaza de Espa;a and 10 from the Setas, also has a lot of bars and restaurants around. It has a sunny terrace that makes it lovely to have food with some fresh air.
What could be improved: It can be noisy from other flats due to the interior patio. Stairs are super narrow and need to be careful while using, I almost fall. It was also very difficult to find parking maybe due to Feria.Sonja from Germany – 6 July 2022 (9/10)
great location and clean apartment. Just a short walking distance to old town – located at the top floor in quite street.
Diego from Portugal – 19 February 2024 (8/10)
Location is excellent, internet is good, the apartment is well equipped.
What could be improved: The shower got a bit cold once… probably the boiler had an issue, but it was an one-off case.Dustin from United Kingdom – 4 February 2024 (8/10)
Very central to the city and had good local amenities nearby.
What could be improved: Narrow steep stairs up to the apartmentMarija from Serbia – 6 October 2023 (9/10)
It's in a great location, close to the city center so you can explore the city on foot, and it has a nice balcony.
The building has very steep stairs, and the apartment is on the 3rd floor, so, be ready to struggle a little bit when carrying your luggage.David from Australia – 25 June 2022 (9/10)
Roomy, comfortable, with light and airy kitchen and eating area plus small balcony. Easy on foot access and by excellent bus network.
What could be improved: Steep and narrow stair access to 3rd floor.
Light wells funnel smells and act as echo chamber to noisy neighbour activities.
In need of some “polish” and repairAlejandra from Puerto Rico – 3 October 2024 (7/10)
The location was excellent. Close to everything you need. The apartment is very comfortable for a couple and the kitchen was well equipped. The check in was easy.
What could be improved: The stairs were narrower than expected (this was in the description tho). The bathroom is a bit uncomfortable and the shower did not drain properly which made it difficult to shower comfortably. Also the sheets, sofa and tub have some stains of wear/tear that should be attended.Jose from United Kingdom – 19 April 2023 (8/10)
Everything was great except the stairs they are very bad
Ana from Romania – 6 February 2025 (9/10)
The location is exceptional and close to anything you would want to visit by foot
What could be improved: The bed is a bit small and the apartment is a bit cold at times.
