Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and Alma de Triana 1 is one of those finds that makes you want to keep quiet about it – but honestly, it’s too good not to share. The moment you walk into this place on Calle Farmacéutico Murillo Herrera, you get why it’s pulling a 9.4 rating. It’s tucked away in proper Triana, not some touristy wannabe version, and I mean you’re literally living like a local here. The building itself has that authentic Sevillian charm without feeling like it’s trying too hard, you know what I mean?

What really got me was how the place feels more like staying at your stylish Spanish friend’s apartment than a hotel room. The details are spot-on – from the way the morning light hits the traditional tiles to the little touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need (decent WiFi, proper shower pressure, and thank God, air conditioning that works). The neighborhood is the real deal though. You’ve got the Guadalquivir right there, and honestly, some of the best tapas bars in the city are just a quick walk away. I’m talking about places where you’ll hear more Spanish than English, which – let’s face it – is exactly what you want when you’re trying to get a real taste of Seville.

Here’s the thing about staying in Triana that the guidebooks don’t really capture: it’s got this incredible energy, especially in the evenings when people are out for their paseo. You’ll hear flamenco drifting from the bars, smell jamón ibérico and olive oil in the air, and there’s this constant hum of conversation from the streets below. It’s never obnoxiously loud, but it’s alive in a way that makes you feel connected to the city. The walk across the Isabel II bridge to the cathedral area takes maybe fifteen minutes, but honestly, you might find yourself spending more time on the Triana side because it’s got this authentic vibe that the historic center sometimes lacks. Plus, parking isn’t the nightmare it is in other parts of the city – though I’d still recommend walking everywhere once you’re settled in. The whole experience just feels right, like you’ve stumbled onto something special that hasn’t been completely discovered yet.

  Limpio, nuevo, muy bien equipado. Ubicación genial, cerca del metro y del centro.
  
  What could be improved: Las ventanas de vidrio pavé hacen que no haya oscuridad total por las noches.
  Además, como sugerencia de mejora, se podría añadir un biombo para darle un poco más de intimidad a la habitación.

  Vaig reservar l'apartament per al meu pare i va anar tot perfecte. Molt amable l'amfitrió, va ser molt fàcil posar-se en contacte per donar-li les claus, apartament molt acollidor i molt ben ubicat a Triana i prop del centre de Sevilla, tot molt net i en perfectes condicions!
