Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Alohamundi Alameda III? The name makes it sound like some generic chain hotel, but honestly, this place has way more character than I expected. It’s tucked right into the heart of Seville’s old town on Correduría street – and I mean really in the thick of things. You’re basically a two-minute walk from the cathedral, which is both amazing and slightly overwhelming when you first step outside and realize you’re surrounded by centuries of history.

The hotel itself feels like someone took a traditional Andalusian building and gave it a thoughtful modern update without losing its soul. The lobby has this beautiful tiled floor (you’ll hear your footsteps echo a bit, but in a good way), and the staff actually seems to know the neighborhood inside and out. When I asked about dinner recommendations, the guy at the front desk didn’t just rattle off tourist spots – he told me about this tiny tapas place around the corner that locals hit up after 10 PM. That’s the kind of intel you want, right? The rooms are solid for a 4-star – clean, comfortable beds, decent-sized bathrooms, and here’s something I appreciated: the AC actually works well, which matters more than you’d think during Seville summers.

What really makes this place work is the location balance. You’re deep enough in the old town to feel authentic (the narrow cobblestone streets, the occasional horse-drawn carriage clip-clopping by at odd hours), but you’re not stuck in some impossibly tourist-heavy zone where every restaurant has English menus and inflated prices. I mean, sure, you’ll still encounter tour groups – it’s Seville – but you can duck into actual neighborhood bars where people are watching football and arguing in rapid-fire Spanish. Walking to the Alcázar takes maybe five minutes, the Metropol Parasol is close enough for sunset drinks, and if you want to venture beyond the tourist circuit, the Triana neighborhood is just across the river. Fair warning though: parking is basically nonexistent around here, so if you’re driving, prepare to use a public garage a few blocks away. Also, weekend nights can get a bit lively with street noise – nothing terrible, but bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The 8.7 rating feels about right to me. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it nails the fundamentals while putting you exactly where you want to be in this incredible city.

  • Simon from United Kingdom – 2 November 2024 (8/10)

Excellent location adjacent to the Alameda.
Very responsive owners to messages through the app and lots of information provided prior to arrival and updates on property readiness.
Layout with bathrooms for each room make this ideal for those travelling with different couples or with older families.

What could be improved: Whilst it was not problem for us the stairs in property are steep and may not be ideal for all.
Some beds more comfortable than others.

  • Madalina from Romania – 1 October 2024 (9/10)

The apartment is huge – 3 bedrooms and they each have individual bathrooms which is really great if you travel with friends.
The apartment is really clean and comfortable
At your disposal you have everything you need for your stay in Seville.
The location is great, really close to all the tourists attractions.
We loved the top terrace from where we could see the street and part of the neighbourhood.

What could be improved: Since the apartment is build on three floors, i found the stairs to be really dangerous – metal stairs which are slippery – two of us took a fall, not too seriously but it could lead to serious injuries! I would kindly recommend to host to add some anti slip tape or something…

  • Tepavski from Bulgaria – 14 June 2024 (9/10)

The place was amazing. Everything was very clean and cosy. It had everything that we needed even more – separate WiFi networks on the different floors, instruction for all of the appliances and recommendations for tourists. The host was friendly and very quickly responded to a small problem in one of the bathrooms. We had some worries about the parking but we managed to use it (we had rented Alfa Romeo Tonale). In my opinion an experienced European driver won’t have any trouble to manoeuvre a vehicle inside. I definitely recommend the place!

  • Vasiliki from Greece – 3 May 2024 (9/10)

    Great location and amenities

What could be improved: Noise from the street to the rooms. The terrace was less decorated than in the pictures

  • Daniela from Austria – 26 February 2024 (9/10)

Very Clean and comfortable Appartement in the City Center
Perfekt that a Parking Garage with elevator was offered close to the appartment
    Terrasse was also really nice

  • May from United Kingdom – 30 September 2023 (9/10)

Location was great to access all areas, on foot. Self catering made it easy for us with different tastes.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Anne from United Kingdom – 16 September 2023 (8/10)

Location was good and the standard of the house too. Kitchen was well supplied with everything needed

What could be improved: Not a great layout for toddlers or children with semi open metal stairway on 3 levels. Baby cot and high chair were broken and unusable upon our arrival but this was resolved the next day. One of the 2 double bedrooms had an extremely uncomfortable sofa bed. The other double bed was very comfy.

  • Nick from Greece – 24 August 2024 (8/10)

Clean, cozy and organised, a spacious apartment ideal for larger groups of friends. Location was great, in a lovely neighbourhood. Owners were very friendly and polite, and the house has everything that might be needed.

What could be improved: The air condition in the attic was somewhat tricky to make it work, and the room was getting often easily hot.

  • Stefan from Germany – 27 November 2023 (7/10)

    Great Location

What could be improved: There is a sleeper couch in one room which is too small and uncomfortable to sleep two grown ups. The house is only comfortable for a maximum of four people.

  • Janette from Canada – 20 September 2022 (7/10)

Loved the location! Loved the design and the decor. Master bedroom bed was a queen and very comfortable except for lack of pillows.. Air conditioning throughout which was perfect in the heat.

What could be improved: Way too stingy in the way of amenities for the pricetag. Only one towel per person. The showers overflowed and nothing extra to pick up the water with!

There is no kettle to boil water in.

The second main bed was actually just a pull out couch. The pictures as a whole are somewhat accurate but the beds are misleading in this regard.

Very noisy at night but we all packed earplugs, understanding we wanted to be central and close to the action so it was just part of the package. So pack Earplugs!
