Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Seville, but Alohamundi Arjona II actually surprised me – and not just because of that wonderfully weird name. The thing is, when you’re wandering around the maze of Old Town streets (and trust me, you will get lost at least twice), finding a place that feels both authentically Sevillian and genuinely comfortable isn’t as easy as you’d think. This four-star spot on Calle Arjona manages to pull it off without trying too hard.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in the real Seville rather than just visiting it. You’re tucked into this narrow street that most tourists never stumble across, but you’re still walking distance from everything that matters – the Cathedral’s literally a ten-minute stroll, and the Alcázar is right there too. What I love is that you’ll hear actual neighbors chatting on their balconies in the evening instead of just tour groups tramping by. The building itself has that classic Andalusian thing going on with the tiled entrance and wrought iron details, but inside it’s been updated in all the right ways. The rooms are spacious by European standards (I mean, you can actually open your suitcase without rearranging all the furniture), and the AC works properly – which, let me tell you, is not something to take for granted during Seville’s brutal summers.

Here’s what really won me over though: the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about where to grab breakfast, they didn’t just point me toward the tourist traps near the Cathedral. Instead, they sent me to this tiny café three blocks away where the locals go for their morning coffee and tostada. That’s the kind of insider knowledge you can’t fake. The 8.4 rating makes sense when you experience little touches like that – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works smoothly and thoughtfully. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare in this part of the city (honestly, just skip the rental car if you can), but there’s a public garage about five minutes away if you absolutely need it. The only minor thing is that rooms facing the street can get a bit of noise from delivery trucks early in the morning, but that’s pretty much unavoidable anywhere in the Old Town. You know what though? Those same rooms get the most gorgeous light filtering through the shutters, so it’s kind of worth the trade-off.

  Great apartment, the apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable, kitchen was good and it was a lovely place to stay on our trip, the location was excellent as everything was close by and within walking distance, I would stay here again when visiting Seville

  What could be improved: Fairly dark in flat due to windows facing interior court, shower was only hot enough for 1 shower, we didn’t find the pillows very comfortable

  The property is conveniently located, close to the main tourist attractions. Nearby, there are grocery stores and some nice brunch spots. The building features two charming Spanish-style courtyards, which were very lovely.
  
  What could be improved: The floor was not very clean, as my white socks turned dark after just a few minutes of walking. Additionally, a tile in the shower was broken, so you need to be very careful to avoid injuring your feet. The showerhead was also broken, causing water to spray out from multiple holes.

  What could be improved: Tenían algunas amenities como te, cafe, etc! pero me pareció que una botella de agua aunque fuese pequeña la hubiera agradecido muchísimo porque llegamos sobre la 01:00 am y tampoco había información visible de si el agua de grifo era potable
