You know what caught me off guard about Alohamundi Cabo Noval? It’s tucked away on this narrow cobblestone street in Seville’s old quarter, and honestly, I almost walked right past it the first time. The building itself has that weathered Andalusian charm – cream-colored walls with those classic wrought-iron balconies that probably look amazing during Holy Week when the processions wind through these exact streets. I mean, you’re literally three blocks from the cathedral, which sounds touristy until you realize you can grab morning coffee at the local bar next door where taxi drivers actually hang out, not just visitors.

The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s polished without being stuffy, and the 8.7 guest score makes sense once you settle in. The rooms have this cool mix of modern touches and traditional tilework that doesn’t feel forced or fake. Actually, what I really appreciated was the attention to sound – these old buildings can be echo chambers, but they’ve done something right with the walls because you don’t hear every conversation from the hallway. The air conditioning works properly too, which trust me, matters a lot during Seville summers when the temperature hits 40°C and the whole city basically shuts down from 2 to 6 PM. Parking’s always a nightmare in this part of town (the streets were built for horses, not cars), but the staff actually knows which nearby lots have reasonable rates and don’t fill up by 10 AM.

What really won me over was the location’s sweet spot factor – you’re deep enough in the old town to feel like you’re experiencing real Seville, but you can still walk to Alameda de Hércules in about twelve minutes when you want that livelier bar scene. The front desk folks seem to actually live here, not just work here, if you know what I mean. They’ll tell you which tapas places the locals hit after 10 PM, or when the Feria de Abril gets too crowded and you should head to the quieter casetas. During my stay in October, the weather was perfect for exploring on foot, and I’d come back to the hotel around 3 PM for that essential Spanish siesta before heading out for the evening. The whole rhythm just worked. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville – there are definitely more luxurious options near the river – but it nails that balance of authentic location, solid comfort, and staff who genuinely seem to care whether you figure out how to navigate this beautiful, slightly chaotic city.

  Great central location with everything handy. Clean and Cosy decor within and it had everything for a comfortable stay.
  
  What could be improved: NO FAULT OF THE OWNERS … We weren't aware that Easter is a big event in Sevilla (our fault for not checking on that beforehand) and we were kind of stuck during during the procession hours.

  Location of the apartment is perfect. It also has everything you could possible think of and it's super well designed. I would give this apartment a 10 if there wasn't an issue with the smell.
  
  What could be improved: The smell. I honestly thought people were exaggerating in the comments, but this smell was unbearable. It is a mixture of drainage/sewage smell and dampness, and we couldn't sleep well because of it.

  Very beautiful apartments. Also the hosts are very friendly and also thinking along, when we arrived late due to a delayed flight.
  
  The most fantastic part is the location, is close to all the city highlights and in the midst of great tapas bars such as Mammaracha across the street!

  Our stay in Seville was wonderful. One thing contributing to our experience was this great apartment. We liked almost everything. It is so well equipped and was clean. The location is almost perfect (of course, we knew that before).
  
  We definitely recommend this apartment!
  
  What could be improved: There are only two things which could (perhaps) be improved – a little more toilet paper (there is so much space – just leave some backup) and the flushing of the toilet (but this may be out of scope of the owner).
  
  One thing to mention is that is might be noisy from the floor above (depending on your neighbours) or from the street which could be disturbing if you are sensitive.
