Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places in Sevilla, and Alohamundi Francos honestly surprised me. The name’s a bit quirky – sounds like they couldn’t decide between Hawaiian vibes and Spanish heritage – but don’t let that throw you off. This place gets it right in ways that matter.
You’re smack in the middle of Calle Francos, which means you’re basically living inside the real Sevilla experience. I mean, step outside and you’re surrounded by those narrow cobblestone streets where locals actually hang out, not just the tourist traps. The Cathedral’s maybe a five-minute walk, but honestly, I found myself just wandering the little side streets more often. There’s this tiny tapas place around the corner – can’t remember the name, but the bartender has a handlebar mustache and makes killer gambas – that I never would’ve found if I’d stayed in some big chain hotel in the newer part of town. The building itself has that authentic Andalusian thing going on, you know? Thick walls that actually keep the heat out (trust me, this matters in summer), and the kind of tile work that makes you realize why people rave about Spanish craftsmanship.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to modernize without screwing up the character. The rooms feel genuinely comfortable – good AC, decent WiFi, bathroom that doesn’t make you feel like you’re camping – but they haven’t gone overboard with generic modern furniture. I stayed on the second floor and could hear a bit of street life in the evenings, but honestly? That’s part of the charm. You’re in the heart of one of Europe’s most vibrant old towns; complete silence would actually be weird. The staff really knows their stuff too, and I don’t mean they’ve memorized some corporate script. Ask them about anything – where to catch flamenco that isn’t touristy, which direction to walk for the best morning light on the Giralda, whether that restaurant down the street is worth it – and you get real answers. Check-in was smooth, no drama with parking (there’s a garage nearby, though honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re here), and they helped me figure out the whole Sevici bike-share thing, which ended up being perfect for getting around.
Here’s the thing – this isn’t the fanciest place you’ll find, and it’s not trying to be. But if you want to actually experience Sevilla instead of just visiting it, this works. You’ll wake up to church bells and the sound of people heading to work, grab coffee at the place next door where they know your order by day three, and spend your evenings discovering corners of the old town that most visitors never see. The 9-star rating makes sense when you realize they’re not just selling you a room – they’re giving you a legitimate base for living like a local, even if it’s just for a few days.

Leigh from France – 7 April 2025 (8/10)
Excellent location. The bedrooms were at the back so pretty quiet. Lounge particularly nice, nicely decorated, plenty of room. Good service, had a couple of problems and they were extremely fast in putting them right.

Hosts were very accommodating and allowed us to drop our bags off earlier than the scheduled check in
What could be improved: There was only 1 pillow per person, two per person would have been great, but otherwise everything was very comfortable, clean and the place was super spacious! Location was excellent!Lilianne from Canada – 3 March 2025 (9/10)
The apartment is centrally located in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, close to many shops and restaurants. The apartment is spacious with a large living room, the kitchen has all the amenities. Each bathroom is located right outside the bedrooms. More importantly, the beds are comfortable.
What could be improved: The wi-fi needed to be rebooted daily.Stewart from United Arab Emirates – 26 February 2025 (8/10)

Georgia from United Kingdom – 28 October 2024 (9/10)
Perfect location
What could be improved: We struggled a little with bags but it is only a short walk from where taxis can drop off. Once we understood the layout it became easier!Kim from United States – 25 August 2024 (8/10)
The hosts were attentive to our needs with quick responses to questions. They also provided us with recommendations for places to visit! The apartment was bigger than we had expected! The hosts made sure we had everything we would need. The location was in the heart of Seville! We walked to everything!
What could be improved: There were some workers in the next door building that began working a little too early for our taste not at the fault of the hosts!
