You know what hit me first about Alohamundi Plaza Nueva II? The location is absolutely killer – and I mean that in the best way possible. You’re literally on Calle Carlos Cañal in the heart of Seville’s old town, which means you can stumble out the front door and be wandering through those narrow, Instagram-worthy streets within seconds. I’ve stayed in plenty of “centrally located” hotels that still require a 15-minute walk to get anywhere interesting, but this place? You’re actually in the thick of it.

The building itself has this understated elegance that I really appreciated – it’s not trying too hard to be flashy, but you can tell they’ve put thought into the details. The lobby has this warm, welcoming vibe that feels more like a well-appointed friend’s place than a corporate hotel chain. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays despite being right in the old town. I mean, you’d expect some street noise with a location this central, but honestly, once you’re inside, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The rooms are spacious by European standards (and trust me, I’ve squeezed into my share of shoebox accommodations), with that perfect balance of modern amenities and character that’s tough to pull off.

Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart though – the staff actually knows Seville. Not just the touristy stuff, but the real local spots. They pointed me toward this tiny tapas place around the corner that I never would’ve found on my own, and it ended up being one of the best meals of my trip. The 9.7 rating makes total sense when you experience that level of genuine hospitality. Also, practical note – if you’re driving, ask about parking when you book. The old town streets are… well, let’s just say they weren’t designed with rental cars in mind, but the hotel staff sorted me out with a good nearby option. Walking to the Cathedral takes maybe five minutes, and you’re close enough to Plaza Nueva that you can pop back to freshen up between sightseeing sessions without it feeling like a major trek. It’s one of those places where the location and service just click together perfectly, making you feel like you’re experiencing Seville the way it’s meant to be experienced – not as an outsider looking in, but as someone who actually belongs there for a few days.

  La limpieza, la ubicación y lo nuevo que estaba en apartamento

  La ubicación perfecta, apartamento totalmente reformado en un callejón al lado de la calle Zaragoza muy céntrico a todo. La cama y el sofá cama muy cómodos. La cocina no la utilizamos pero tenía de todo(cafetera, tostadora, cápsulas d café de cortesía, azúcar, té, aceite, sal….). A pesar de estar en el centro de Sevilla la estancia fue muy cómoda ya que se podía descansar bien porque las ventanas dan a un patio interior del rellano donde está la entrada al resto de portales por lo que no se escucha mucho ruido de la calle.
  
  What could be improved: Por poner una pega pero para nosotros no lo fue mucho, las llaves se arrancan un poco al abrir tanto la puerta del apartamento como la del portal. Pero una vez que le pillas el truquillo no hay problema.
