Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Alohamundi Zaragoza III? The name is honestly a bit of a mouthful, but once you’re standing on Calle Zaragoza in Seville’s old town, none of that matters. This 4-star place sits right in the heart of everything that makes Seville magical – I mean, you’re literally surrounded by those narrow cobblestone streets that GPS absolutely hates, but your feet will thank you for later.
The location is actually perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. You’re a proper walk from the Cathedral (maybe 8-10 minutes if you don’t get distracted by the orange trees), and honestly, that’s ideal because you avoid the worst of the tourist crowds that swarm around the main sights, especially during spring when everyone’s hunting for the perfect Semana Santa experience. The building itself has that weathered Andalusian charm – you know, the kind where the facade looks like it’s been watching over the neighborhood for decades, which it probably has. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep the authentic feel without making you suffer through authentically terrible plumbing or nonexistent air conditioning.
The staff actually seems to know the neighborhood, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. They pointed me toward this tiny tapas place around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise – the kind of spot where locals grab their evening vermut and argue about football. The rooms are well, they’re what you’d expect from a solid 4-star without any nasty surprises. Clean, comfortable beds, and – this matters in Seville – the AC actually works properly during those brutal summer afternoons when the city basically shuts down for siesta. The soundproofing is decent too, though you’ll still hear the occasional late-night reveler stumbling down the cobblestones (honestly, that’s part of the charm).
What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both central and peaceful. You’re close enough to walk to Plaza de España when the mood strikes, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you can actually get some sleep. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you consider the whole package – it’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Seville, but it nails the fundamentals while giving you that authentic neighborhood feel that chain hotels just can’t replicate. If you’re the type who wants to duck into a proper local bar for breakfast instead of hovering around hotel buffets, this is your spot.

Excellent location to visit all the major sites by foot! No taxis whatsoever! Many restaurants shops and bars close by but was still very quiet at night- peaceful sleep. Flat was clean and comfortable. Owner was super responsive and instructions to get keys and open door very clear. Much prefer this to hotels. Price was great.
What could be improved: Needed handsoap in the bathroom.Alberto from Philippines – 26 April 2025 (9/10)
The location. Staff was very responsive online.
What could be improved: Stale air builds up despite the airconditioning or maybe it’s just us.Claudiu from Romania – 5 October 2024 (10/10)
Great Accomodation in the heart of the old city. The appartment has everything you need for any lenght stay. Good air-con, quiet place during the night.
Very kind hosts, making sure we have the best experience.
What could be improved: Nothing not to like.Laura from United States – 23 September 2024 (10/10)
The location was amazing- close to many of the places we wanted to visit and many restaurants. The apartment was nicely furnished and had everything we needed.
What could be improved: Nothing.Julie from New Zealand – 5 September 2024 (10/10)
Loved the location – easy to walk everywhere from here. Las Setas a 12 minute walk. Cathedral and Real Alcázar less than that.Supermarket 2 mins walk and restaurants less than 1 min.
The apartment was clean. Had separate bedroom and separate kitchen. It was very quiet. Excellent instructions were given to access the apartment ourselves so did not need to meet anybody. We arrived early and the property was available for us to use. It had a dishwasher and a washing machine and I liked the little extras in that they left about 5 each of dishwasher tablets and washing machine detergent and a tea towel. Coat hangers in wardrobe and drying rack.Good shower over the bath. Bed was comfortable .There was a lift.
What could be improved: Nothing – everything was greatDavid from United States – 2 May 2024 (10/10)
Everything was perfect. Centrally located just 5 min walk to the best sites. The El Arenal neighborhood is very charming and the unit is close to several great bars and restaurants. The unit itself is very quiet with windows that open up into a small central courtyard.
What could be improved: There is some street construction going on down Zaragoza Street that takes a little bit to navigate around. No construction noise at the unit. Just blocked off streets.Lintaylor from United Kingdom – 16 March 2024 (10/10)
We both loved the place. Easy access. Brilliant location. Everything about it was great.
What could be improved: Going home 🙂Carl from United Kingdom – 7 November 2022 (10/10)
A well-appointed apartment in a nice central location, within easy reach of many sights (e.g. within 15 minutes' walk of the spectacular Mushrooms).; there are many good bars, restaurants and shops literally just around the corner. It was nice and clean, it was well-presented, and the facilities were excellent.
We would highly recommend a stay here (we would say it wouldn't be suitable for families with small children, as there's only one bedroom), and we would definitely look out for this place again if we should ever come back to Seville – hopefully soon because it is a beautiful city. Overall, a great place to stay!
What could be improved: To be honest, the only negative was a very slight one: the light switches took a little getting used to, as flicking the switches lit rooms we weren't expecting, but that really was a temporary situation and did not affect our stay in the slightest.Cotisel from Romania – 25 February 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: We had a good stay, but the fact that the dor stays closed only with the key is a little disturbing , the coffee machine is dripping water at every coffee, and the most annoying thing was that the street was under construction an we had to cross trough the mud with the bags, at least if we knew in advance that there are 2 entry dors we could go through the street that wasn't under construction
