You know what caught me off guard about Angeles 6? The moment you step inside, you completely forget you’re on a narrow Old Town street that’s probably been there since before Columbus set sail. I mean, Calle Ángeles itself is one of those quintessentially Sevillian streets where you can practically touch both buildings if you stretch your arms out, but somehow this place feels like a hidden sanctuary once you’re through the door.

The Giralda tower is literally right there – and I’m not exaggerating when I say you can see it from some of the rooms. Actually, that’s both a blessing and something to consider because during peak tourist season (basically March through June), you’ll hear the cathedral bells pretty regularly. Honestly though, after the first day it becomes part of the charm rather than an annoyance. The location is almost ridiculously perfect if you want to be in the thick of things – you’re about a three-minute walk from the cathedral, maybe five to the Alcázar, and the Santa Cruz neighborhood is right around the corner. But here’s the thing locals know: this particular street doesn’t get the foot traffic that some of the main tourist drags do, so you get the benefits without feeling like you’re living in a theme park.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to blend the luxury factor with the authentic Sevillian architecture. The rooms have this sophisticated feel – sort of modern meets traditional Andalusian – without trying too hard to be boutique-y. The bathrooms are genuinely nice (which, let’s be honest, can be hit or miss in historic buildings), and the beds are actually comfortable, not just pretty. I stayed there during a particularly warm October, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which is more important than you might think in a city where even autumn can surprise you with 80-degree days. Parking is going to be your biggest logistical challenge, but that’s true for literally anywhere in the Old Town – I ended up using the public garage near Plaza de Armas and just walking, which took about ten minutes and let me discover some great little tapas spots along the way.

The staff seemed to actually know Seville, not just the hotel, which made a difference when I needed dinner recommendations that weren’t tourist traps. They pointed me toward a flamenco bar on Calle Betis that I never would have found otherwise, and honestly, that recommendation alone was worth the stay. The 8.7 rating makes sense – it’s not perfect (the elevator is tiny, and if you’re traveling with big luggage, good luck), but it delivers on what matters most: comfort, location, and that feeling that you’re staying somewhere that gets what Seville is actually about.

  Excellent location in the heart of Barrio Santa Cruz. Apartment is easy to access and feels very safe and secure. It was so nice to have a separate sitting room apart from the bedroom for cooking and lounging. Roof deck was great. We went up there every day to dip in the little pool, play games, and admire the view.
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom is tiny, so it’s a little hard to set up toiletries, but the shower was spectacular! The drain in the kitchen leaked when we used the sink but I’m guessing that was just a temporary problem. Bedside lamps weren’t adjustable, which made it a bit hard to get enough light to read.

  Location is very central, close to Catedral de Sevilla and Real Alcazar, lovely compact apartment, rooftop terrace and pool also perfect to use during hot weather, staff were very accommodating, also includes luggage storage after checkout however only downside is there is only one mirror for use in the bathroom.
  
  Would also like to mention that hiring an uber can be quite difficult as the road is very tight, would recommend booking taxis/uber slightly further out even though it gives you the option to book closer.

  Location. It was centrally located.You literally step out into the hub,restaurants, attractions etc.
  The staff was responsive. Followed up with us regarding arrival times and was waiting for us at the apartment. Provided information regarding the city and available restaurants and attractions.
  It was very clean. Beds were comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was very small. Not sure whether they have more spacious apartments but based on photos I expected a more spacious layout. The apartment had a very tiny sitting space and a kitchenette. It was ok for us because we did not use the kitchen. We were literally in the apartment to sleep. But if you were expecting a relaxing place to sit, cook, chat after a long day of sight seeing for a family of 4 ( older kids) our specific apartments was not the place.
  For North Amercian travellers, you should be aware the beds come with only one pillow. Rather flat pillow so was difficult to sleep if you are used to two pillows. Not enough extra pillows, this was a personal irritant for me but many traveller's may find this a non issue. It would have been nice if the property could store extra pillows

  The location was exceptional, it is easy walking distance to the cathedral and other historical sites as well loads of restaurants and bars. The roof terrace was gorgeous, providing a lovely place for breakfast, coffee or a beer. It has a great view of the cathedral and is perfect for listening to the bells. There was a beatification of a saint while we were there, with much pomp, celebration and bell ringing.!
  The apartment was tastefully decorated, it seemed to be all newly appointed and was very well equipped. It was great to have 2 bathrooms, both of which had really good showers.
  The building itself felt secure, access was easy and the lift perfect. Outside was buzzy, but felt safe and inside was quiet.
  Nuria, the host was fabulous, so helpful. She has perfect English and is very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen/sitting room was a little smaller than we had expected.
