You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked down Calle Ángeles – it’s this narrow little street that honestly looks like every other cobblestone alley in Seville’s old quarter. But then you spot number 7, and there’s something about the entrance that just feels… different. More polished, I guess. The Angeles Deluxe Suite by Valcambre sits right in the heart of everything, which means you’re literally a three-minute stumble from the Cathedral (and trust me, after a few tapas crawls, that distance matters). What really got me was how they’ve managed to soundproof the place – because let’s be real, staying in Seville’s centro histórico usually means listening to every tourist group and late-night flamenco session echoing off the walls.

The suite itself is actually pretty clever. They’ve taken what was probably some old Sevillian townhouse and turned it into something that feels both historic and completely livable. The ceilings are high enough that you don’t feel cramped, which is saying something for this part of town where most places feel like beautiful shoe boxes. I mean, the bathroom alone is bigger than some entire hotel rooms I’ve stayed in around here. And honestly? The air conditioning actually works – which, if you’ve ever been to Seville in summer, you know is basically a miracle. The little kitchenette is perfect for those mornings when you can’t face another hotel breakfast, plus there’s a decent-sized fridge for keeping your gazpacho cold (because you will become obsessed with gazpacho here, fair warning).

What really sells this place though is the location knowledge you get just by staying here. The staff actually knows which tapas bars the locals hit versus the tourist traps on the main drags. They’ll tell you that Casa Morales around the corner has been slinging jamón since 1850, or that if you walk five minutes toward Plaza de la Encarnación, you’ll hit the Thursday morning market that most visitors never find. Parking is… well, it’s Seville’s old town, so parking is always going to be an adventure, but they’ve got arrangements with a garage that’s actually walkable. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or concierge services you’ll never use. You’re paying for a genuinely comfortable base in the absolute center of one of Spain’s most gorgeous cities, run by people who seem to actually care whether you have a good time.

  Appartamento molto carino, nuovo e ben tenuto in posizione centralissima, vicino alla Cattedrale e a tutti i servizi. L'host è stato moto gentile nel farci lasciare gli zaini appena arrivate. Abbiamo trovato i letti comodi e tutto abbastanza pulito.
  Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
  
  What could be improved: Unica pecca le zanzare che in particolare in una delle stanze erano tantissime e la mia amica si è svegliata con almeno 15 punture su una mano… potrebbe essere un'idea installare delle zanzariere.

  La comodidad de camas y sillones.

  What could be improved: Es un apartamento para seis.Solo hay cuatro sillas para comedor y dos sillones de paja que casi no caben.
  Por otro lado, deben cambiar tazas por otras aptas para microondas o disponer una jarra de cristal que permita calentar leche en el microondas. Yo me quemé el dedo por un uso inadecuado de las tazas.
