You know what struck me first about this place? Walking up Calle Lagar, you’d almost miss it if you weren’t looking – it’s tucked into this narrow street that feels completely separate from the tourist chaos, but honestly, you’re maybe two minutes from Plaza del Salvador. I mean, two actual minutes, not travel-website minutes where everything is “just steps away.”

The location is sort of ridiculous in the best way. You’re right in the thick of Seville’s old town, but on this quiet little street where the only sounds are neighbors chatting from their balconies and maybe some flamenco drifting over from one of the nearby bars. The apartment itself feels authentically Sevillian – none of that sterile hotel-chain stuff. The ceilings are properly high (thank god, because Seville gets hot), and there’s this lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s actual home rather than a rental property. The kitchen is actually functional too, which matters if you want to grab some jamón and cheese from the market and have a proper breakfast.

What really gets me is how the owners seem to understand what travelers actually need. The Wi-Fi works – I know that sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places in old Seville buildings struggle with connectivity. There’s decent water pressure, which again, old buildings can be tricky. And the air conditioning is legit, not one of those units that sounds like a helicopter and cools nothing. You’re a five-minute walk from the Cathedral, maybe three to the bars around Alfalfa (which get lively around 11 PM if you’re into that scene, or if you’re not, well, the apartment’s windows are solid enough that it won’t keep you up). The Metropol Parasol is right there too, though honestly, locals kind of roll their eyes at it – but the views are decent if you’ve never been.

Parking is going to be a nightmare, but that’s true for anywhere in this part of Seville. There’s a public garage about a ten-minute walk away, or you can try your luck with street parking in the newer parts of town and just walk in. The train station is maybe a 20-euro taxi ride, or you can metro most of the way and walk the last bit. Check-in was straightforward – they actually showed up when they said they would, which feels worth mentioning. The whole experience just feels… right, I guess. Like staying somewhere that gets a 9.6 rating because people genuinely enjoy being there, not because it’s trying too hard to impress anyone.

  Fabulous apartment,well equipped with everything you could possible need and spotless ..comfortable bed with white cotton sheets, air con was brilliant so was the shower.

  The host Vincente was amazing. We had a car and fit lost, he found us down the street and helped out. Vincente also checked us in and showed us the highlights of Seville.

  Amazing location in the center of town, beautiful apartment inside and out, very clean, air conditioning and wifi worked well, easy to access. Vincente was super friendly and responsible. We had everything we needed and even were able to do some laundry!
