Hotel Description
You know, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Alfonso XII 28/a – honestly, the entrance is pretty understated and you might even walk past it if you’re not paying attention. But once you’re inside this apartment, it’s a completely different story. The location is absolutely killer – you’re literally in the heart of Seville’s old town, which means you can stumble back from a late dinner without worrying about taxis or figuring out the bus system (which, let’s be honest, gets confusing after a few glasses of local wine).
What really struck me is how this place manages to feel both authentic and comfortable. The apartment has this lived-in quality that most hotels completely lack – I mean, you’re not sleeping in some sterile room that’s been designed by committee. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be some luxury palace, but everything works properly and the details are thoughtful. The fact that it’s pulling a 9.1 rating tells you something – people genuinely love staying here, and after spending time in the neighborhood, I get why. You’re a two-minute walk from the Cathedral (you can actually hear the bells, which is either charming or annoying depending on how light a sleeper you are), and the narrow streets around here are packed with those tiny tapas bars that locals actually frequent.
Here’s what I wish someone had told me before booking: the streets in this part of town are narrow and mostly pedestrian-only, so if you’re driving, you’ll need to sort out parking separately. But honestly? That’s part of what makes the location so special. You’re tucked away from traffic noise, and in the evenings when the sun starts to set, these old stone streets have this incredible golden light that makes you understand why everyone goes crazy for Andalusian architecture. The building itself has that classic Sevillian feel – thick walls that keep things cool during the day, which you’ll appreciate if you’re visiting in summer when it gets properly hot. I found myself using the apartment as a mid-day retreat, which you can’t really do when you’re staying in some massive hotel where the lobby feels like a train station. The whole setup just works – you get the independence of having your own space, but you’re staying in a building that’s been part of this neighborhood for decades. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because leaving feels like leaving home, not just checking out of another hotel room.

Great location. Comfi beds.
What could be improved: Shower too small. They left two big basket of cleaning items in the bathroom at plain view.Rachel from United Kingdom – 29 October 2023 (9/10)

Great location. Apartment is clean, quiet and has space. Good equipments for a week long stay.
We received great and understanding customer support (thank you Rocio!)
I recommend!
What could be improved: Some windows are small so you feel the need to keep some lights on during the day. Not an issue if you use the place as a base while you're exploring the city most of the day.Andre from United Kingdom – 30 September 2023 (7/10)
Very spacious and well equipped with everything you're likely to need. Its located in the heart of the old town but luckily its quiet . The beds were comfortable and the air con worked well . There are some great restaurants close by and the city bus tours start just 5 mins walk away.
What could be improved: The apartment block is a little scruffy and the flat really could do with a make over but for the price represents great value and if on a budget I'd definitely commend it.Pierre from France – 11 April 2025 (10/10)
