You know what caught me off guard about Apartamento Living By Cathedral? It’s literally on Avenida de la Constitución – I mean, you can’t get more central than that in Seville’s old town – but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy or chaotic once you’re inside. I was expecting the typical cramped European apartment situation, but these folks actually figured out how to make a 3-star place feel… well, honestly more thoughtful than some of the fancier hotels I’ve stayed at.

The location is pretty incredible, and I don’t just mean because you can practically roll out of bed and touch the cathedral (though that’s admittedly cool). What I really appreciated was being right there where the locals actually hang out – you’ve got that morning coffee rush at the little bars nearby, and in the evenings you hear people heading to the tapas spots that aren’t on every tourist blog. The apartment itself has this lived-in quality that works, you know? Like someone actually thought about what you’d need instead of just throwing together generic hotel furniture. The kitchen isn’t just for show either, which is rare – I actually used it, grabbed some jamón and cheese from the market near Plaza del Salvador.

I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical about the 9.3 rating before I arrived (seemed too good to be true for the price), but after staying there I get it. It’s those little things that add up – decent water pressure, windows that actually keep street noise manageable, and the check-in process was refreshingly human instead of some complicated key-code situation. The only minor thing is that Constitución can get busy during peak tourist hours, but honestly, if you’re staying in the heart of Seville’s old town, you’re not exactly looking for a quiet suburban vibe anyway. Plus, once the evening settles in and the day-trippers head back to their tour buses, you get this authentic neighborhood feeling that makes you feel like you’re actually living in Seville for a few days rather than just passing through. That’s probably worth way more than whatever you’re paying for it.

  The apartment is centrally located to everything and had the amount of space needed to accommodate 7 adults. I especially enjoyed all the views from the balconies. When we come back, we will stay here again. We truly enjoyed your recommendations and the beautiful apartment ❤️!

  The location was wonderful — right across the street from the Cathedral! The balconies in our apt were great for views of the neighborhood. The apartment was quite spacious for the 7 of us. Bonus is the washer in the unit.
  
  What could be improved: We had hoped for a dryer in the unit but as the host explained, there is no need for a dryer in Spain as it gets very hot. We were able to hang our clothes on a huge drying rack which worked out just fine. The only other thing that we didn't like is that is was quite far from where we had to park. We had a van which we weren't able to park in the nearby parking lots. We found one but it was about a 20 min walk away.

  Clean, nicely decorated apartment in a central location. Room is bright, with two large windows proving great ventilation. Kitchenette has basic essentials to prepare simple meals, Nespresso, washing machine. Central air worked great, nice shower, and comfortable bed. Checkin with Angela was lovely-provided information about the apartment and area. Also greatly appreciated the early checkin. Communication was met with prompt responses. A lovely stay!
