Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and honestly, Apartamento Museo is one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. It’s right there on Plaza del Museo Primero – which, by the way, sounds way fancier than it actually is, but in the best possible way. You’re literally living in Old town Seville here, like properly in it, not just tourist-adjacent.

The thing that got me about this place is how it actually feels like an apartment someone cool lives in, not a sterile hotel room. I mean, the name “Museo” isn’t just marketing fluff – you’re genuinely surrounded by that old Seville architecture that makes you understand why people lose their minds over this city. The building itself has character, you know? Those thick walls that keep things surprisingly quiet even when you’re smack in the historic center. I was worried about noise – because let’s be real, Spanish nightlife is no joke – but honestly slept better here than I do at home.

What really sold me was the location, though I hate using that word because every hotel claims great location. But here’s the thing: you can walk to the Cathedral in maybe eight minutes, but you’re not dealing with the insanity of being right on top of it. The Alcázar is close enough that you could pop back for a siesta between morning and afternoon visits (which, trust me, you’ll want to do in summer). And there’s this little café around the corner – I think it’s called Bar Santos or something like that – where the locals actually go for coffee, not just tourists stumbling around with guidebooks.

The apartment itself feels generous, space-wise. I’ve stayed in plenty of European “apartments” that turn out to be glorified closets, but this actually has room to spread out your stuff and not feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. The kitchen isn’t just for show either – I actually used it, grabbed some jamón and cheese from the market near Calle Sierpes and had proper little picnics. There’s something really satisfying about shopping for dinner ingredients in Spanish and then cooking in your own space after a long day of tourist-ing.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward hunting around for a key lockbox or trying to coordinate with someone who speaks three words of English. The whole experience just felt… professional, I guess, but without being stuffy about it. You get the sense that whoever runs this place actually cares about it, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re traveling.

I stayed here in late spring, which I’d totally recommend – not too hot yet, but warm enough to have the windows open and hear the city waking up in the morning. That 9.2 rating isn’t inflated tourist nonsense either; it really does nail that sweet spot between authentic local experience and having your creature comforts sorted. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Seville rather than just passing through, this is your spot.

  Lovely spacious apartment in a central but quiet location. Comfortable beds and a decent lounge and kitchen. Air con was fab!

  Nuestra estancia fue excelente en todos los aspectos. El alojamiento es realmente bonito, muy cómodo y cuenta con aire acondicionado, lo que hizo que todo fuera aún más agradable. Las camas son especialmente confortables y las habitaciones destacan por su amplitud; los armarios tienen espacio de sobra para guardar todo lo necesario. Como detalle de bienvenida, nos ofrecieron agua, lo que se agradece tras el viaje.
  
  El acceso es muy sencillo gracias al sistema de código, y el anfitrión gestionó nuestra reserva de principio a fin con una atención impecable, siempre amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Incluso cuando nos demoramos en la salida, no hubo ningún inconveniente, lo que demuestra su flexibilidad y excelente trato.
  
  La ubicación es inmejorable: justo frente a un museo, con vistas al parque y rodeado de restaurantes con precios increíbles. Sin duda, un alojamiento 10/10. ¡Repetiremos al 100%!
