Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and Apartamento Puerta Carmona honestly surprised me – in the best way possible. When you first walk up to Calle Amador de los Ríos 11, you’re right in the thick of the old town, but it’s this quieter street that most tourists just walk past without really noticing. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the cathedral, but somehow the street doesn’t get that constant stream of tour groups that makes other spots feel like a theme park.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there (well, someone probably does when it’s not rented out). The kitchen has proper coffee cups, not those tiny hotel ones that make you feel like you’re playing house, and there’s this little balcony that looks out over the narrow street where you can watch the neighbors hang their laundry and chat with each other in the mornings. What really got me was the bathroom – I know, weird thing to focus on, but it’s one of those rainfall showers that actually works, and the water pressure doesn’t disappear when your neighbor decides to shower at the same time. The whole place has these original tile floors that stay cool even when it’s blazing hot outside, which trust me, you’ll appreciate if you visit in summer.

You know what’s actually useful about this location? You can walk to pretty much everything, but more importantly, you can escape the crowds easily. There’s this tiny tapas place called El Rinconcillo just around the corner – it’s supposedly the oldest bar in Seville, though honestly half the bars in Spain claim that. But the jamón is incredible and the bartenders remember your order after two visits. The apartment is also close enough to the Alameda de Hércules that you can wander over there in the evenings when the locals come out, but far enough away that you won’t hear the late-night revelry if you’re trying to sleep. Parking is… well, it’s the old town, so good luck with that, but there’s a decent underground garage about five minutes away if you’re driving. Most people just take the train from the airport though – it drops you at San Bernardo and then it’s maybe a 15-euro taxi ride, or you can walk it in about 20 minutes if you’re not dragging massive suitcases through cobblestone streets (which I don’t recommend, honestly). The whole experience just feels more authentic than staying in one of those big chain hotels near the river, and with a 9.5 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so.

  Great place for staying in comfortable apartment in Seville. Everything perfect! Great contact with the owner, everything in the apartment in great condition and clean. Close to the train and bus stations as well as the city centre.

  The host Graphael was a very nice and helpful man.
  The apartment was superb, and unlike many places, the facilities are very complete.
  For cooking, there were so many types of ingredients available. There's even free coffee, many types of tea, milk, sugar and even butter in the fridge and it's all complimentary.

  El apartamento está muy bien equipado, encuentras cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar. Buena ubicación cerca del centro.

  Esta a unos 15/20 minutos del centro de Sevilla. Barrio tranquilo para descansar. Muy agradable y cortes es todo momento Rafa nuestro anfitrión del apartamento.
  
  What could be improved: Lo único es que a la segunda habitación justo a la entrada del apartamento no llegaba bien la señal del WiFi.

  房东很热情，提前在楼下等送钥匙，进屋还会热情接受各种电器使用方法还会提供地图介绍景点和餐厅。房间两室一厅在住宅里，距离老城区西班牙广场等步行均可抵达。
  
  What could be improved: 卫生间的热水器应该是储水升温的，如果一个人洗完以后另外要多等一会，一开始我们并不知道导致最后一个人洗的时候后来水就凉了。离门口较近的房间的空调杂音很大，突然启动和制动都有很大噪音，如果天太热的时候夜里睡觉开着会有影响。
