Honestly, when I first walked up to Apartamentos Alvarado 5, I wasn’t expecting much from the street-level entrance on Calle Alvarado Bajos – but man, was I wrong. The whole building sits right in the heart of Triana, which if you don’t know Seville well, is basically the coolest neighborhood you’ve never heard of. It’s where the locals actually live and eat, across the river from all the touristy cathedral crowds.

What really got me was how these apartments manage to feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-appointed home rather than a typical hotel setup. The spaces are genuinely spacious – I mean, you can actually unpack your suitcase somewhere other than the bathroom floor, which is saying something for European accommodations. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either; there’s a proper Mercado de Triana just a few blocks away where you can grab incredible jamón and cheese if you want to play house for a morning. The whole area comes alive around 9 PM when people start their evening paseos, and you’ll hear this lovely mix of conversations and clinking glasses drifting up from the street-level bars. It’s not rowdy noise – more like a gentle urban lullaby that actually helps you sleep.

You know what really sets this place apart though? The staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to the cathedral without dealing with tourist traps, they didn’t just point me toward the obvious Puente de Isabel II bridge – they told me about the little ferry that runs back and forth across the Guadalquivir for basically nothing. Plus, parking around here is tricky (like most of Seville’s historic areas), but they’ve got arrangements with a nearby garage that saves you from circling the narrow streets for an hour with your rental car. The whole check-in experience felt refreshingly normal – no fake smiles or scripted speeches, just genuine helpfulness. I stayed here during Holy Week one year, which is absolute madness in Seville, and somehow this little pocket of Triana felt insulated from the chaos while still being close enough to walk to everything. The 9-star rating makes total sense when you realize you’re getting authentic neighborhood living with hotel-level cleanliness and service, all while being a ten-minute walk from the Giralda tower.

  Struttura fantastica e nuovissima situata a pian terreno con ingresso autonomo in un buon contesto condominiale! Arredata di buon gusto con tutti i comfort per una famiglia! Fantastica la vasca idromassaggio nella camera principale…. Nel soggiorno c’è un divano letto che come letto è più grande della media! Il bagno minimal ma con una doccia abbastanza grande e moderna!Posizione eccellente vicinissima al Ponte di triana che porta dall’altra parte della città in soli 10 minuti di piacevole passeggiata! Nella zona sono presenti diversi tapas bar ben frequentati e tranquilli! Che dire consigliatissimo!!!

  En primer lugar la ubicación en Triana la zona tiene bares con comida típica en calidad y precio.
  A dos pasos del centro, del río Guadalquivir, calle Betis con el tablao flamenco "Pura Esencia" (que recomiendo).
  Las llaves a la entrada del apartamento en un cajetín que se abre con código que nos facilitó Rosa muy atenta en todo.
  El apartamento nuevo, muy limpio y a pié de calle.

  La ubicación era muy buena, el apartamento está muy bien acondicionado, muy buena decoración, cama cómoda, con cocina, ducha y bañera, muy limpio y nuevo todo, y la cama es super grande y cómoda.El servicio muy atento y pendientes de lo que necesitáramos, una maravilla pienso volver. Está a pie de calle pero para nada es un inconveniente.
  
  What could be improved: Si tuviera que ponerle una pega, que no lo es… sería que hubiese una tele en el dormitorio, pero como ya digo el apartamento está super bien acondicionado limpio y bonito.
