You know what struck me first about Apartamentos centro histórico? The location is honestly ridiculous – and I mean that in the best way. Tucked down Callejón Golfo, you’re literally in the heart of Seville’s old quarter, close enough to hear the cathedral bells but far enough down this narrow side street that you escape most of the tourist chaos. I actually had to ask a local shopkeeper for directions the first time because GPS gets a bit confused in these winding medieval streets, but that’s part of the charm, isn’t it?

The apartments themselves are pretty solid for what you’re paying – it’s a 3-star place with a 7.8 rating, which honestly feels about right. Nothing fancy, but everything works and the beds are comfortable enough after a long day wandering around the Alcázar (which is maybe a 5-minute walk, by the way). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night despite being so central – those thick old walls do their job well. The apartments have that typical Andalusian feel with tile floors that stay cool even in summer, though I’d pack some slippers if you’re visiting in winter because those same floors can be chilly. The kitchenettes are basic but functional – perfect for making coffee in the morning or storing some jamón and cheese from the market on Calle Feria.

Here’s the thing about staying here though – you’re not just getting accommodation, you’re getting access to real Seville life. There’s this tiny tapas bar around the corner that I never would have found if I wasn’t staying in the neighborhood, and the woman who runs the little grocery shop two streets over started recognizing me after a couple days and would recommend which tomatoes were best. Sure, you might struggle with parking if you’re driving (honestly, don’t drive in the old town if you can help it), and the check-in process can be a bit informal – sometimes you’re meeting someone at a café nearby rather than a traditional front desk. But that’s part of staying in these converted historic buildings. The trade-off is that you’re waking up to church bells instead of traffic noise, and you can stumble home from dinner without dealing with taxis or long walks. Plus, during the cooler months when Seville is at its best, these apartments become little havens where you can actually open the windows and let in that perfect Andalusian air that smells faintly of orange blossoms and old stone.

  Great location, very central. Apartment was very spacious and cool, especially as it was 40°c outside!

  It is with8n walking distance from pkaces of intetest , restorans, shops and yet it was peacfull during nights. Bad is comfortsble,m all rooms have AC, communication wirh the owner very pleasent and easy… We did not eat in the app so nothing to say abou kitchen. Really good value for the money
