I’ll be honest – when I first walked down Calle Cervantes looking for number 17, I almost missed it. The entrance is sort of tucked away in this quiet corner of Seville’s old town, which turned out to be exactly what made it so perfect. You know how some places in the historic center can feel like tourist traps? Well, this isn’t one of them. The street actually feels lived-in, with locals heading to work in the morning and kids playing in the narrow alleys.

The apartments themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully modern – someone clearly put effort into making them feel like actual homes rather than hotel rooms with kitchenettes slapped in. The kitchen in mine had proper knives (finally!), and the coffee maker wasn’t one of those sad pod machines. What really got me was the attention to small stuff: decent hangers in the closet, multiple phone chargers, even a proper full-length mirror. The air conditioning worked brilliantly too, which you’ll appreciate if you’re visiting during Seville’s brutal summer months. I mean, we’re talking 40+ degrees some days, and stepping into that cool apartment felt like salvation.

Location-wise, you’re basically in the heart of everything without being right on top of the chaos. The Cathedral’s maybe a five-minute walk, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear tour groups at dawn. I loved that I could wander to Plaza de Armas for morning coffee, or head the other direction toward Alameda de Hércules when I wanted something more local and less polished. There’s this tiny tapas place around the corner – I think it was on Calle Zaragoza – where the bartender started recognizing me after two days. That’s the kind of neighborhood this is. Parking’s tricky if you’re driving (honestly, just don’t drive in old town Seville), but the Prado de San Sebastián bus station is close enough that getting around the city is pretty straightforward. The building itself is quiet – thick walls, I guess – so even though you’re in the center of things, you can actually sleep. Check-in was refreshingly simple too, none of that awkward lobby hovering you get at big hotels.

  the host was very communicative, he made sure we arrived got everything we needed.
  the place was very clean, neat and organized. the property had a small washing machine, a coffee machine, a fridge provided. there was a/c in every room. the beds were very comfortable. there were plugs everywhere. it was a great place to stay.
  it was close and walking distance to most of the stuff and attractions. there were bars close to it too. 5 minutes to calle alameda. and to other attractions can take 10-15minutes walk which is close to each other..
  i like that there were two rooms separate which gave us more space, the place is very spacious.
  
  What could be improved: there was no sign outside for the apartment so it was hard to see it at night, there were two doors so we got confused with the other door 17. there’s no parking available, had to drag our luggages for 8 minutes. parking was very pricey 33euros per day. would have been nice if there was a voucher or parking provided. dragging our heavy luggages to and from and going down to the parking area was really annoying and difficult, you have to get out of the mall. but if you have to leave early you cant enter the mall so you have to take the stairs or find the elevator on the other side.
  the washing machine was a little bit confusing, had to youtube it. also it doesnt dry the clothes completely so you have to hang it with the hanger provided but it takes really a long time..
  
  had a hard time to plug our phones and other gadgets cause they didnt have any usb plugs or regular plugs. no adaptors or any converters so had to buy converters for us to charge our phones etc.
  the roads are very narrow so just be careful when driving your car.
