Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Apartamentos Core Suite Sevilla? The address alone tells you everything – Calle San Eloy is basically in the heart of everything that matters in Seville’s old town, but it’s tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant tourist parade right outside your window. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Cathedral, but somehow this little street maintains this almost residential feel that’s honestly pretty rare in this part of the city.

The suites themselves are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star place, but with this thoughtful attention to detail that suggests someone actually lives in apartments like this – not just designs them for tourists. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (and I’m someone who actually cooks when traveling, so I notice when the knives are decent and there’s more than one tiny pot). What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re surrounded by tapas bars and the Cathedral bells. The building itself seems to absorb sound in a way that newer constructions just don’t manage. I slept through what locals later told me was a pretty lively flamenco session at the bar around the corner.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that overly formal hotel lobby experience, more like staying at a well-organized friend’s place. The staff actually knows the neighborhood, too, which sounds obvious but isn’t always the case. When I asked about parking (because driving in Seville’s old town is… well, it’s an adventure), they didn’t just hand me a generic map but walked me through the specific streets to avoid and the exact times when certain areas get crazy busy. Speaking of busy – if you’re coming during Semana Santa or the April Fair, book way ahead because this place fills up with people who clearly know something about Seville that the average tourist doesn’t. The 8.9 rating makes sense when you spend a few days here; it’s not flashy enough to be a 9.5, but everything just works the way it should, and in a city where you’ll be out exploring most of the day anyway, that’s exactly what you want to come back to.

  The apartment had everything you could need. Was very central for shops and bars. Safe, clean, and very modern.

  We collected the keys from the hotel reception which was located opposite Las Setas. We had a free airport pick up which was set to Core Suites but we asked the driver to take us to the hotel which he did. The reception staff were lovely and gave us a map of the area which had all the landmarks. The Core Suites apartment is a 5 minute walk from the hotel so very easy to locate.
  
  What could be improved: Only downside to the apartment was not having a kettle. There is a Nespresso machine and a microwave which I used to boil up water. A kettle would be a good addition to an otherwise perfect stay.

  The receptionist was very nice. After a quick sheckin, I received door codes to access the apartment. The door codes worked well and made it easy to access the apartment. There was a door code to access the building and another to access the apartment itself.
  
  What could be improved: It was a little difficult to find the reception desk and the streets were busy for driving … but not the apartments fault. It was in old town and near (walking distance) to many restaurants and sites we wanted to see. I would definitely stay here again.

  The apartment is a good size. It is in an excellent location. The beds are very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
  
  What could be improved: The couch is a little uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time.. The apartment can be a little noisy with the windows open because it is located where there are a lot of people walking below on the street, but late at night, it becomes quiet enough for sleeping.

  What could be improved: Air van in toilet doesnt properly work… air does not get sucked out. The blankets were very strange just a linen on top and below, but nothing that kept it together.
