Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Apartamentos Cruz de San Andrés – the entrance on Calle Cruces is pretty understated, and you might actually walk past it if you’re not paying attention. But that’s kind of the point with this place. It sits right in the heart of Seville’s old town, tucked away just enough that you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t completely overrun yet.
The apartments themselves are… well, they’re exactly what you’d want if you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights and actually live in Seville rather than just pass through. Each unit has a proper kitchen – not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation – which means you can hit up the little market on Plaza del Duque (about a five-minute walk) and make your own gazpacho if the mood strikes. The 9.3 rating makes sense once you settle in; everything works the way it should, the WiFi doesn’t cut out when you need it most, and the air conditioning actually keeps up with those brutal July afternoons. I mean, staying anywhere without decent AC in Seville during summer is basically self-torture.
What really sold me on the place, though, was the location without feeling like you’re camping out in a tourist theme park. You’re close enough to the Cathedral that you can hear the bells (which is charming until about 6 AM, fair warning), but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with flamenco music drifting up from street performers until midnight. The narrow streets around here – Calle Cruces connects to this maze of tiny alleys that all look the same until you get your bearings – are where you’ll find the bars locals actually go to. There’s this little tapas place around the corner where the bartender will argue with you about football while pouring the best manzanilla in the neighborhood, and honestly, that’s worth the price of admission right there. Parking is… well, it’s Seville’s old town, so forget about parking. But the nearest metro stop is walkable, and you really don’t need a car for anything once you’re settled in. The apartment building itself is quiet – thick walls, good windows – which you’ll appreciate since Spanish social life happens pretty late into the evening.

Having a code check in was great. It would have helped to have had the wifi password posted somewhere in the apartment.

The location was very central — right in the heart of Seville, surrounded by its charming narrow streets. Everything was within walking distance. Despite being in the center, the apartment was very quiet, which made our stay with our little baby very comfortable. Having an elevator was a big plus. The apartment was clean and functional. The kitchen was newly renovated and fully equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were responsive and attentive — they answered our questions immediately. We didn’t use the terrace much, but it was nice to have one.

Great location , very central in Seville , near to the cathedral , lots of lovely bars and restaurants nearby. Walking distance to all the main sites and attractions.

The apartment is absolutely amazing, so beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of the most beautifully decorated apartments I have ever been. The apartment is in a building that was obviously recently renovated. The location could not be more central, very close to all the key attractions, yet on an extremely quiet little square. Although it is in the pedestrian zone, it is easily accessible and getting luggage is not at all difficult. Communication with the owner is very easy, without complications, the instructions are clear, complete and concise. I am very grateful especially for the parking instructions. All in all, I highly recommend it. You will not regret it.
