Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Apartamentos Edificio Constitución on Calle Adolfo Rodriguez Jurado, I wasn’t expecting much. The building’s got that classic Sevillian facade that blends right into the old town, which is actually perfect because you’re not dealing with some touristy eyesore. But here’s the thing that got me right away: you can literally hear the cathedral bells from your window, and I mean that in the best possible way. It’s like having your own personal wake-up call from the 15th century.

What really struck me about this place is how it sits right in that sweet spot between being in the thick of everything and still feeling like you can actually breathe. You know how some hotels in old quarters make you feel claustrophobic? Not here. The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – I mean, you’ve got actual room to spread out your stuff, which is rare for European city centers. The kitchen setup is legit too, not one of those sad little kitchenettes with a broken coffee maker. I actually used it, cooked some jamón and tomatoes I grabbed from the market near Plaza del Salvador (which is maybe a three-minute walk, by the way).

The location thing is honestly where this place shines, though they don’t need to oversell it because it speaks for itself. Plaza de Armas is right there when you need to catch a bus somewhere, the Guadalquivir is close enough for evening walks, and – this is key – you can stumble back from the tapas bars around Calle Mateos Gago without needing a map or risking your life crossing major streets. I stayed here during Semana Santa one year, and while everywhere else was absolute chaos, this little stretch felt like a pocket of calm. Well, relatively calm anyway.

The building itself has character without being precious about it. You’ll hear your neighbors sometimes (it’s Spain, people talk, deal with it), but nothing that’ll keep you up unless you’re ridiculously sensitive to sound. The check-in process was smooth – no waiting around in some cramped lobby, just straightforward apartment-style efficiency. Parking’s tricky like anywhere in the old town, but there’s a public garage about five minutes away if you’re driving, though honestly, once you’re here you won’t need your car much.

I keep coming back to how this place just works for different types of trips. Business traveler who needs space to spread out? Covered. Couple wanting to play house in Seville for a week? Perfect. Family that doesn’t want to be crammed into adjoining hotel rooms? Absolutely. The 8.6 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it delivers on what actually matters when you’re staying somewhere. You get the apartment independence with hotel-level reliability, and you’re positioned right where Seville starts to feel like home instead of just another stamp in your passport.

  Excellent location close to restaurants/ cafes and shops. Lovely views out the window. Well equipped kitchenette, washing machine and a great size bathroom. Highly recommended – host welcoming and responsive

  It is very close to the cathedral.. the position is perfect…you can go to the apartment whenever you need during the day…the room is comfortable and quite spacious…we enjoyed our stay in Sevilla

  Location is great to the old city centre, to Triana lots of places within walking distance and close to the bus and transport. The kitchen is well equipped just a chopping board and wooden utensils are better for nonstick pans. Beds very comfortable. Air conditioning was good and the storage fine. Plenty of towels given.
  
  What could be improved: Only small things like the hinge on kitchen extractor fan which is loose.
  Door of freezer not closing, think part missing. Shelf over bathroom sink needs to be level.
  Left shutter at window sticks so needs a little maintenance.

  We were met by Ana .who was really welcoming and informative about the local amenities. The location was fantastic . Could not be better. We looked on the cathedral de seville.. A must stay and very reasonable.

  The location was PERFECT! Right in the middle of everywhere. The apartment was clean and had what we needed. The staff was amazing. The women who met us upon arrival was very friendly and helpful with tips on the city. The owner was amazing when I had a work emergency and needing help printing a document. Couldn’t have asked for better! P
