Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of places in Seville’s old town, and honestly? Apartamentos Reyes Catolicos 14 hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. The building itself is tucked right into the historic quarter – I mean, you’re literally surrounded by those narrow cobblestone streets that make Seville feel like a living museum, but without the tourist trap vibe that some of the more famous areas can have.
What really got me about this place was how it manages to feel both authentically Sevillian and actually comfortable for modern travelers. The apartments have this lived-in quality that I love – you know, like someone’s stylish Spanish grandmother decorated them but then added proper Wi-Fi and decent shower pressure. The location on Calle Reyes Católicos is pretty brilliant actually, because you’re close enough to walk to the Cathedral and Alcázar in about ten minutes, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you’re not dealing with constant crowds outside your window. I spent quite a few evenings just wandering the immediate neighborhood, discovering little tapas bars that clearly cater more to locals than visitors – there’s this one place around the corner that does incredible montaditos that I probably never would have found from a more touristy base.
The practical stuff matters too, and this is where the place really shines. Check-in was straightforward (though I’d recommend confirming arrival times in advance), and while parking isn’t included – which is pretty standard for old town Seville – there are a couple of public lots within reasonable walking distance. The apartments themselves are well-equipped enough that you could actually cook if you wanted to, though honestly with Seville’s food scene, I’m not sure why you would. One thing I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night despite being in the city center – the thick walls of these old buildings really do their job. The 8.4 rating feels about right to me; it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises: a genuine slice of Seville life with enough comfort that you’re not roughing it. If you’re the type who wants to feel like a temporary local rather than a hotel guest, and you don’t need someone to carry your bags or turn down your bed, this place gets it right.

The apartment was really stylish and comfortable. It was in an outstanding location on a very nice street. We wished we could have stayed longer but we just passing through Seville for the night after a long flight.
What could be improved: It would be nice to get the entry instructions earlier than the day of arrival. It was a little stressful after spending 13 hours on the plane and landing at midnight just hoping we'd get the information to get inside and sleep. Centrally located, 400m walking distance to the Autobus station (long distance bus) and close to the train station

The breakfast at a cafe a few blocks away was good. The building has very thick walls, making it cool even in summer.
What could be improved: There was a drain that needed attention in one sink, but since there are two bathrooms, it wasn't much of an issue.
