You know what caught me off guard about Apartamentos RG Resitur? The elevator situation – I mean, you’re heading up to the sixth floor, and honestly, I was grateful there actually was one. The building itself has that classic Sevillian apartment feel, which makes sense since you’re basically staying in someone’s residential building on Calle Salado. It’s not your typical hotel lobby experience, but that’s actually part of the charm.
The Triana location is genuinely brilliant, and I don’t say that lightly. You’re across the river from the main tourist crush, but close enough that you can walk to the Cathedral in about fifteen minutes – though honestly, you might not want to leave Triana once you discover it. This neighborhood has this authentic, lived-in quality that the city center sometimes lacks. There’s a little market nearby where locals actually shop (not just tourists buying magnets), and the tapas bars along the river feel like places where people go after work, not because their guidebook told them to. The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious – you get a proper kitchen, which is clutch if you want to grab some jamón and cheese from the market and have breakfast on your own terms. The furnishing is, well, functional rather than Instagram-worthy, but everything works and it’s clean.
Here’s the thing about staying here – parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, since it’s a residential street and spots fill up quick. But the trade-off is worth it because you’re living like a local for a few days. The building gets quiet at night (Spanish apartment buildings tend to have thick walls), and you’ll hear the occasional moped or late-night conversation drifting up from the street, but it’s not disruptive – more like urban white noise. Check-in was straightforward, though make sure you coordinate timing since it’s not a 24-hour front desk situation. I actually appreciated that the place doesn’t try to be something it’s not – it’s clean, comfortable apartments in a fantastic neighborhood where you can walk to incredible tapas, catch the sunset from the Triana bridge, and still be close enough to hit the major sights when you feel like being touristy. The 7.8 rating makes sense – it’s solid without being fancy, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

The building is located closely to everything. The bus to/from the airport is a few minutes walking away. A big supermarket right next to the building. Bonus point – close to the start/finish of Seville marathon!

The apartment was very big, furnished with everything necessary for a short stay.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was super clean.
The position is in a quiet area, well connected to the center.
We did not need air conditioning so we did not use it.

It had all the utilities we needed for a longer stay, washing machine, kitchen and a small supermarket right next door. A proper small apartment for our stay in a neighbourhood away from the centre of Sevilla’s busy streets but easily walkable – we didn’t take public transport once during our stay!

The proximity to the city centre of Seville; it's just across the river, about a 10 minute walk. Close to a metro station and several parking garages. Very accessible and easy to travel to.
What could be improved: In our opinion, the pictures and description on Booking don't do Resitur justice. Not in a good way, unfortunately.
The room and facilities are old. When we entered, the room smelled stale and dusty, as if someone had smoked in there for 10+ years. (To solve the problem, we ended up buying an air freshener as the air conditioning or opening a window did nothing). The facilities are similarly old and don't all function the way they should. Most notably, the AC doesn't do much but blow the air around, which meant we weren't able to cool the apartment at all. Our host didn't adequately follow up on our questions about it. Additionally, several of the hobs on the stove didn't work, meaning the kitchen loses a lot of its functionality – somewhat disappointing, as our main reason for booking an apartment rather than a hotel room is to be able to cook.
Overall, despite the good location, we were not satisfied with our stay at Resitur. During our travels in Andalucia we stayed in several other of the major cities, and this apartment was by far the most expensive. It was also by far the least comfortable, clean and functional. El apartamento es muy acogedor para dos personas. Todo limpio y ordenado y tienes menaje de cocina suficiente y no es nada ruidoso.Esta en una zona muy céntrica y con un Mercadona al lado.
