I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Apartamentos Sevilla Este, I wasn’t expecting much from the Este district. Most tourists stick to the old town, but you know what? They’re missing out. This place sits on Calle Eufrates, which sounds exotic but is actually just a quiet residential street that feels properly Spanish, not tourist-trapped.

The apartamentos are basically what you’d want if you’re planning to actually live in Seville for a few days rather than just sleep there. I mean, there’s a proper kitchen in each unit – not some sad mini-fridge situation – and the living spaces actually have room to spread out your stuff without tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. The 8.6 rating makes sense once you settle in; it’s not flashy four-star luxury, but it’s that comfortable, functional kind of place where everything just works. The air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing (crucial in Seville summers), and the WiFi actually reaches the bedroom, which honestly surprised me.

What really sold me on this spot was the neighborhood itself. You’re about fifteen minutes from the cathedral and all that – close enough that you’re not stuck in tourist pricing hell for every meal, but far enough that you can walk to a proper Spanish bar where the locals actually hang out. There’s this little market nearby where you can grab fresh tomatoes and jamón for breakfast, and the whole area has that lived-in feeling where kids are playing football in the streets and abuelas are chatting on stoops. The metro connection isn’t bad either, though I ended up walking most places because the weather was decent and you discover things you’d miss underground. Parking was surprisingly manageable – the QHotels people seem to have figured out that most guests drive, which isn’t always a given in Spanish cities. One thing though: if you’re expecting hotel-style daily housekeeping, you might want to adjust expectations. It’s more like renting a really nice apartment that happens to have a front desk.

  The apartment was awesome, very clean and beautiful. The staff was sweet.

  Helpful staff. Nice big room. Close to the airport.

  Stayed there for one night just, it’s five minutes from the airport, it is really beautiful and clean I really liked the room

  We were on bicycles and were entering the city from Cordoba. This place is located near the entrance the city and was quite easy to find. Quiet, peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nearby grocery stores and a public transport stop. The staff was extremely friendly.

  The room was well-equipped, there was everything one could wish for in an apartment. It was also clean and the staff was very helpful.
  The hotel is located in a distant part of Seville, which makes it very competitive in terms of price compared to other hotels, unfortunately it is located next to a very busy road. Our room was facing the road directly and one could clearly hear the road even with all windows shut.
  When selecting the hotel, I recommend asking for a quiet room: not all apartments are facing the road.
