Hotel Description

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to the Apartment Wall Center on Calle Pozo, I wasn’t expecting much from the street view. But you know what? Sometimes the best places in Seville’s old town hide behind those unassuming doorways, and this turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises.

The location is actually brilliant once you get your bearings. You’re literally in the heart of the old quarter, which means cobblestones (pack comfortable shoes, trust me) and that maze-like feel that makes Seville so addictive. What I loved is that you can walk to the Cathedral in maybe eight minutes – I timed it because I’m weird like that – but you’re tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your door. The little streets around here come alive in the evenings when locals head out for tapas, and there’s this authentic neighborhood vibe that a lot of the hotels in the more touristy areas just can’t match. I mean, there’s a proper neighborhood bar literally around the corner where the bartender remembered my café cortado order by day three.

The apartments themselves surprised me too. They’ve got that modern-meets-traditional thing going on that actually works – none of that trying-too-hard decorator nonsense. The space feels bigger than you’d expect (Seville’s old buildings can be cramped), and honestly, having a proper kitchen was a game-changer. Not that you’ll want to cook much with all the incredible food around, but being able to grab fresh oranges from the market and squeeze juice in the morning? Perfect. The Wi-Fi actually works well, which isn’t always a given in these old buildings with their thick walls, and the air conditioning kept up even during that heat wave in July when the temperature hit 42 degrees. One small thing – the shower pressure could use some work, but it’s adequate, and the hot water is reliable.

What really won me over was how the staff treated the place. They clearly know Seville inside and out, and their recommendations were spot-on. None of that generic tourist trap stuff – they sent me to this incredible little tapas place on Calle Mateos Gago that I never would have found otherwise. The check-in was smooth, parking arrangements were sorted without drama (seriously important in this part of town), and when I had questions about getting to the airport early in the morning, they had actual useful advice instead of just shrugging.

The 8.7 rating makes sense to me. It’s not trying to be a fancy resort – it’s a really solid, well-run place that gets the fundamentals right while putting you exactly where you want to be in Seville. If you’re the type who wants to actually experience the city rather than just visit it, this works. The value is excellent for what you get, especially considering you’re staying in prime real estate in one of Spain’s most beautiful cities. Would I stay here again? Already planning to.

Absolutely everything – the apartment location made it easy to explore Seville without being directly in the center of the city and feeling overwhelmed
, especially as this week was Holy Week. Being able to return to the comfort of our apartment after walking for a long time was lovely ❤️ and our host couldn't have been more accommodating, especially with my various questions about bins! Thanks!

Apartment is really nice and very calm and has excelent position.Everything you need is provided and it has 2 airconditions for heating and great tv with many channels and Netflix

What could be improved: Double bed is really small and not for high people

  • Damien from Ireland – 21 December 2024 (9/10)

Within walking distance to public transport, city centre, restaurants and pubs. The apartment was clean, secure, spacious and great value for money!

What could be improved: I wasn't there long enough!

  • Žiga from Slovenia – 14 July 2024 (9/10)

Great location – everything near by.

What could be improved: In case you have a car, you will have to search for the parking since there is no parking available at the premises. Our kid woke up at 7 and neighbours were upset about the normal volume of noise – but nevertheless it was not a deal breaker – you just have to know it's a quiet place.

  • Irene from Spain – 9 March 2024 (9/10)

Very comfy and cosy apartment. 100% recommended

  • Forgy from United Kingdom – 9 August 2023 (8/10)

Great location, great apartment, lovely and helpful staff/owner.

What could be improved: The neighbours are a little noisy, but to be fair I can imagine, they get a lot of noise from guests (just something to bear in mind if you are a light sleeper).

  • Ivor from United Kingdom – 3 March 2025 (9/10)

The apartment was clean and had all the facilities that I needed. The water in the shower was hot and powerful and the Wi-Fi was free, fast and reliable. The location is quiet and only a short walk into the centre of the city but there are cafe's very close. The Flat Screen TV and the roof top for drying clothes were added bonuses.

What could be improved: The only minor thing I experienced was the TV remote was well used so the button identification was rubbed off. I had to google how to adjust the volume using that particular remote but perhaps others may have worked it out.

  • Lucjan from Poland – 24 September 2024 (8/10)

What could be improved: I asked for an invoice, which unfortunately I did not receive.

  • Andrew from Australia – 7 January 2024 (9/10)

  • Ken from United Kingdom – 20 September 2023 (8/10)
