So you’re thinking about staying at the Armenta Deluxe Suite, and honestly? This place surprised me in the best way. I mean, when you first walk up to number 3 on Calle Armenta, it doesn’t scream “luxury hotel” from the outside – it’s tucked into this narrow cobblestone street that feels more like a hidden residential corner than a tourist zone. But that’s actually what makes it perfect, you know? You’re literally in the heart of Seville’s old town, like proper old town where locals still hang their laundry from wrought-iron balconies and you can hear the echo of horse-drawn carriages on stone streets in the early morning.

The suite itself is where things get interesting – it’s got this gorgeous blend of traditional Andalusian architecture (think exposed wooden beams and those thick walls that keep things cool even in August) mixed with genuinely modern touches that don’t feel forced. The bathroom alone made me do a double-take… marble everywhere but not in that cold, intimidating way. More like someone’s elegant aunt who happens to have impeccable taste. What really sold me though was stepping out onto the little balcony with my morning coffee and realizing I could see the Giralda tower peeking over the rooftops – I mean, come on. You’re staying in a 4-star place but getting these million-euro views that most hotels charge twice as much for. The location is honestly unbeatable if you want to actually experience Seville rather than just photograph it. You can walk to the Cathedral in about eight minutes (I timed it), but more importantly, you’re surrounded by those tiny tapas bars that don’t have English menus and close at weird hours – the kind of places where locals go after work and you’ll hear proper flamenco guitar drifting out at 11 PM on a Tuesday.

I will say, parking is basically impossible on the street itself, so plan on using one of the public garages nearby (there’s one about a five-minute walk away that locals use). And if you’re a super light sleeper, just know that the neighborhood gets lively on weekend nights – not obnoxiously loud, but you’ll hear people chatting and laughing as they wander home from dinner at midnight. Personally, I found it charming… it felt like being part of the city’s rhythm rather than watching it from some sterile hotel bubble. The staff really knows their stuff too – they gave me restaurant recommendations that weren’t in any guidebook I’d seen, including this incredible little place around the corner where the owner’s grandmother still makes the gazpacho. That 8.8 rating makes total sense when you add it all up. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but it nails that sweet spot of authentic location, genuine comfort, and those little unexpected touches that make you want to extend your stay.

  I travelled to Seville for a weekend break with 3 friends. The apartment was a perfect size for our group with two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a decent size sofa bed in the living room. It was well equipped and very clean. Location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of the old town with easy access to the monuments and the restaurant area.
  
  Check in was friendly with good early communication. Also queries via booking.com app in advance of trip were responded to quickly.
  
  What could be improved: An extra mirror in either the living / dining room or twin bedroom would have been helpful for slightly larger guest size.

  Apartment and location in the old town were excellent. Surrounded by historical sites and buildings. Seville is very flat which makes it very easy for walking around. Lots of good quality food from cafe to restaurant grade. Prices very acceptable. A lovely city and the weather was very kind for early February.
