You know what hit me first about this place? The silence. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Seville’s old town on Calle Marqués de Paradas, but once you climb up to this penthouse duplex, it’s like the city noise just… disappears. Maybe it’s because you’re on the second floor looking down at everything, or maybe the old building walls are just that thick – either way, it’s honestly perfect after spending days wandering those bustling narrow streets below.

The thing about staying here is that you’re not just getting a room, you’re getting this whole elevated experience (literally and figuratively). The duplex setup means you’ve got space to actually spread out – I found myself making coffee in the morning and just standing by the windows, watching the city wake up. And speaking of location, you can walk to the Cathedral in maybe five minutes, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t have tour groups marching past your door at 7 AM. The street itself is one of those gems that locals use as a shortcut, so you’ll see actual Sevillanos heading to work or the market, not just other tourists taking photos.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic Andalusian character – the tiles, the way light filters through in the afternoon – while making everything actually functional for modern travelers. I mean, the WiFi works (crucial for those of us who can’t completely disconnect), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing, and honestly, the bed situation is just right. Not too firm, not too soft. You’ll sleep well here, especially after walking around Seville all day, which let’s be real, involves a lot more hills than people expect. The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy in that over-the-top way, but everything just works really well together. Plus, and this might sound small but it matters, checking in was refreshingly straightforward. No drama, no confusion about keys or instructions that don’t match reality.

  Tomas was a wonderful host! Not only was his apartment clean, it was in walking distance to all the sights. He gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area and was very responsive to questions.
  
  What could be improved: The neighbors were noisy (slamming doors at all hours), but this isn’t the Tomas’s fault.

  Perfect Location, just found it a bit confusing to enter the building on arrival, had to phone host,who was very helpful, to welcome us into the accomodation.

  What could be improved: The only issues we had were the lift is very noisy and in use right up until the wee small hours of the morning. The neighbours can also be very noisy in the corridors/slamming doors until the same time. Not Tomás’ fault tho! 😊

  Tomas is a very good host. He helped us with everything we needed! The apartment was very spacious and we had everything there what we needed. A complete kitchen with coffee and tea, 2 bathrooms with a good shower, products to use, fresh towels, 2 nice bedrooms with a good mattress.
