Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and honestly, most of the time you’re either stuck way out in the modern districts or crammed into some converted convent that’s all charm but zero comfort. Atico en Puerta Osario is different though – it’s actually right there on Calle Puñonrostro, which if you know the old town at all, puts you maybe two minutes from the Cathedral but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with tour groups at 7 AM.

What really got me was how they’ve done this place up. I mean, it’s a proper attic apartment – hence the “atico” – so you get these slanted ceilings and interesting angles that could feel cramped, but somehow it doesn’t. The light comes in beautifully during the day, and you know what? The AC actually works, which is no small thing when it’s 40 degrees in July. The guy at check-in was refreshingly straightforward about everything – none of that overly rehearsed hospitality script you usually get. He just walked me through how everything worked and mentioned the best times to avoid crowds at the nearby tapas spots (around 6 PM, before the dinner rush but after the lunch crowd clears out).

Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize until they’re there – Calle Puñonrostro connects you to basically everything worth seeing, but it’s narrow enough that cars can barely squeeze through, so it stays relatively quiet. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Plaza de Armas if you need to catch a bus somewhere, and the Guadalquivir is right there when you want to escape the maze of streets and just walk along the water. I actually found myself using the apartment as a proper base rather than just a place to crash – came back midday to cool off, grabbed snacks from the little market around the corner on Calle Alemanes. The 9.2 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works exactly as it should, the wifi doesn’t cut out when you need it most, and the shower pressure is honestly better than my apartment back home. Plus, and this matters more than you’d think, the neighbors are quiet – seems to be mostly locals rather than party-focused short-term rentals, so you can actually sleep at night.

    The appartment was very nice and clean. In the center of Sevilla. Quick response from Charo (host) when we had some questions. All apparatus worked fine and manuals were sent with the mail. Direct whatapp contact was very nice. Roof terras was the bonus to have. So you can sit outside on the roofterrace in the evening when coming back from center to do some drinks together.

    What could be improved: There are 2 small things to mention. We found the beds small. Normally we have beds 1.8m wide (90cm wide each) These were smaller. And the last small point of attention was the fact that you only can enter the roof terrace, to going trough the bedroom om the top floor.

    Great communication with the host + very handy recommendations we received upfront. Very good position – walking distance to main touristic attractions. Big terrace. Very clean and kitchen has everything you need, including dishwashing machine, which is very handy when you decide to have the breakfast at home.

    What could be improved: 2 small downsides that didn't bother us, but worth mentioning for others: 1. the room upstairs doesn't have a door (it's located right at the end of the stairs); 2. the room upstairs has sliding glass doors to the terrace, therefore it isn't completely soundproof, and you can hear the traffic on the road.

    Die Lage war sehr zentral. Man kam schnell überall hin. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war tadellos, alle Fragen wurden, bevor ich sie stellen konnte, von ihm beantwortet.
    Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und ansprechend. Selbst die Dachterrasse verfügt über eine gute Ausstattung (Stühle, Tisch, Liegen und Loungesessel)
    Wir sind erst abends geflogen und konnten auf Empfehlung des Vermieters unsere Koffer direkt gegenüber im Kiosk einlagernd.

    What could be improved: Der Wasserhahn im oberen Bad sollte repariert werden.
    Es war schwierig, an warmes Wasser zu kommen.

    Foarte aproape de centru și de atracțiile turistice, aproape de gara, de un centru de închiriat mașina. Bucătăria era dotata cu tot ce ai nevoie(sare, condimente, ulei spray, cafea, zahar, gheață in congelator si coca cola rece – bonus). Terasa e binevenită, am folosit-o din plin. Are mașina de spălat rufe și detergent lichid, cârlige pt rufe și rastel de uscat rufele pe terasa. Accesul a fost foarte ușor, pe baza de cod, nu am interacționat direct cu personalul.
