Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Seville apartments, and most of them are either tourist traps or missing that special something – but Avanti Luz de Sevilla actually gets it right. The name’s a bit of a mouthful (honestly, just call it Avanti), but this place sits right on Plaza Ponce de León, which means you’re literally in the heart of the old town without being stuck on one of those crazy busy streets where tour groups march past at 7 AM.

The apartment itself is on the third floor – yeah, you’ll get your steps in, but trust me, it’s worth it. What really struck me was how they managed to keep that authentic Sevillian feel while making everything actually work for modern travelers. You know how some of these historic places look gorgeous but then the shower has no pressure and the AC sounds like a freight train? Not here. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, with those thick walls that keep things cool during the brutal summer afternoons. I mean, when it’s 40 degrees outside and you can still take a siesta without melting, that’s something. The windows open onto the plaza, so you get these amazing glimpses of daily Sevillian life – old guys playing cards, kids kicking balls around, that sort of thing. It can get a bit lively in the evenings (this is Spain, after all), but it’s the good kind of neighborhood energy, not obnoxious party noise.

What I really appreciated was the location intelligence – you’re a five-minute walk from the Cathedral and Alcázar, but tucked away enough that you’re not drowning in selfie sticks. The nearest grocery store is literally around the corner, and there’s this little café downstairs where the coffee is actually decent (rare for tourist areas, let’s be honest). Getting here can be tricky if you’re driving because, well, old town Seville streets weren’t designed for cars, but there’s parking nearby if you know where to look. The hosts clearly understand their neighborhood – they gave me tips about which tapas bars to hit and when to avoid the major sites (protip: Cathedral before 10 AM or after 5 PM). After staying here, I honestly can’t imagine picking one of those generic hotels near the river when you could be right in the middle of everything that makes Seville special. It’s pricier than some options, sure, but you’re paying for location and that increasingly rare thing – a place that feels authentic without sacrificing comfort.

  Clean and comfortable and spacious .
  Comfy beds and lots of pillows and thick comforter ! And well stocked with coffee pods and tea bags .
  
  What could be improved: It’s just personal preference , I don’t Care for the scent of the shampoo and bath gel .

  The apartment was very spacious, with a clean, modern design. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also convenient: about a 20-minute walk to Seville Cathedral and around 40 minutes to Plaza de España.
  
  What could be improved: Not exactly a downside, but worth noting: if you have a late-night or very early flight, be aware that the main gate to the courtyard is locked at night and you can’t exit without a key. We were lucky that someone happened to be coming in at 3am when we needed to leave.

  Newer spacious apartment, clean, nicely decorated, well equipped with very comfortable beds. The advantage is the location within walking distance of the center and a public garage in the basement of the building. The supermarket is across the street and there are many places to eat nearby that are open late at evening. The owner is available for any questions or advice and responds quickly.

  The property is conveniently located about 15 to 20 minutes from popular attractions and less than 5 minutes from the renowned restaurant El Rinconcillo.

  The location of the apartment is great, almost in the old town, close to all tourist attractions. You can walk everywhere in 10-15 minutes.
