The location on Calle Lumbreras is kind of perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist chaos on every corner. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the Cathedral (I timed it), but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear groups of people taking selfies at 11 PM.

The building itself has this cool mix of traditional Sevillian architecture with modern touches that don’t feel forced – you know what I mean? Like, they kept the original tile work in the common areas, but the elevators actually work and there’s decent WiFi throughout. My room had these gorgeous high ceilings that kept things cool even during the brutal August heat, which honestly saved me a fortune on air conditioning. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too, not just the obvious tourist spots. When I asked about where to grab breakfast, they sent me to this tiny café around the corner on Calle Alemanes where locals actually go – none of that overpriced tourist trap stuff. And parking? Well, you’re in Seville’s old town, so forget about driving, but the Puerta de Jerez metro stop is close enough that getting to and from the airport is pretty straightforward.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to small details that you don’t notice until you’re there. The soundproofing is actually good (rare in these old buildings), the shower pressure doesn’t disappoint, and they stock the rooms with local olive oil and sherry – little touches that show they get what travelers want. I mean, the 9.2 rating makes sense when you’re there. It’s not trying to be some fancy palace hotel, but it nails the fundamentals while giving you that authentic Seville experience. The rooftop terrace becomes this perfect spot for evening drinks where you can see the Giralda tower lit up without fighting crowds of people for the view. During Holy Week and the April Fair, you’re positioned perfectly to walk to everything, but you can also escape back to a quiet space when the festivities get overwhelming. Honestly, for a four-star place in this part of the city, it punches above its weight – I’d book it again without hesitation.

  Everything. The location was central. It was very clean. The facilities worked very well. It was quiet. We would definitely stay there again. Very clear instructions about how to get into the apartment. We got the instructions with plenty of lead time.

  El apartamento era muy bonito y acogedor. Nos encantaron los detalles que tuvieron y se nota que se esmeran mucho para que las personas que nos alojamos en el nos sintamos como en casa.
  Sin duda si vuelvo a Sevilla volveré a alojarme con ellos.
