I’ll be honest – when I first heard about a hotel on Calle Bamberg, I had to think twice about the location. But you know what? This little street in Seville’s old town is actually a gem that most tourists walk right past. The Bamberg Central Suite sits right in the heart of everything, and I mean *everything* – you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Cathedral, but tucked away enough that you won’t hear the tour groups at 7 AM.

The suite itself feels more like staying in a really well-appointed apartment than a typical hotel room. The space has this modern Spanish vibe going on – clean lines but warm touches, and honestly, the beds are fantastic (I’m picky about mattresses, so this matters). What really got me was the attention to detail in the kitchen area. It’s not just for show – you can actually cook something decent if you want to grab ingredients from the Mercado de Feria, which is about a ten-minute walk north. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly, not like those sad trickle things you get in some places. The whole place stays surprisingly cool even in summer, which anyone who’s been to Seville in July will tell you is no small feat.

Here’s what I really appreciate about this spot – the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about parking (because let’s face it, driving in Seville’s old town is basically a contact sport), they didn’t just hand me a generic map. They walked me through the actual closest spots and warned me about which streets get blocked during certain festivals. Speaking of which, if you’re here during Semana Santa or Feria, you’re positioned perfectly to see the processions without fighting the crowds on the main routes. The rating of 9.4 makes sense when you stay here – it’s not just about the room, though that’s lovely. It’s about feeling like you’re living in Seville rather than just visiting it. You’ll find yourself popping back during the day, maybe grabbing a quick siesta (do it, seriously), then heading out for tapas in the evening. The whole rhythm of the city just works better when you’re staying somewhere that feels this integrated into the actual neighborhood rather than stuck in some tourist bubble.

  The location is perfect for a long weekend in Seville, minutes from the cathedral and a tapas bar literally on the door step, without keeping you awake. So bright and light, really giving you a sense of being right in the heart of the city. We could have used the parking space but the streets are very narrow so we just parked a 5-10 minute Uber drive, much less stressful but that’s a personal choice. So delighted we found this place and such a good price for the location and property.
  
  What could be improved: The sofa was very tired, strained and uncomfortable but just encourages you to enjoy the city more I guess.

  The location was great and the property was very clean, nicely furnished and decorated, well equipped and comfortable. I would definitely recommend, but only if not arriving by car, particularly one of our size, which is not enormous (Mini Countryman).
  
  What could be improved: It was very difficult to find the parking and the directions could have been better and allowed for driving through the narrow streets. Fortunately the girl who met us suggested an alternative to make access easier. Also, although we had already given car dimensions, the parking space was far too tight – fortunately we didn’t need the car again until we were ready to leave.
  Also, given that it is quite a few minutes walk to the apartment along tight and cobbled streets in the heat, a welcome bottle of cold water, and maybe a starter pack of tea, coffee and long life milk would have been much appreciated and a nice touch. I would have even been happy to pay for something to be waiting for us.

  Lovely light airy apartment close to the Cathedral and the shopping part of town. Location was excellent, Appartment was scrupulously clean and had everything we needed.
  
  What could be improved: A slight confusion about how to access the Appartment. Although I'd given my husbands phone number as a contact for when we arrived, I was sent a message the day we arrived which I didn't see (My phone has problems accessing data abroad) so although we had texted from my husbands phone to say we were on our way, the message didn't reach the person who was greeting us, and their message didn't reach us. We found the door to the Appartments, but when we arrived we didn't know which bell to press as there were 4 apartments at the location and we don't know which one was ours. Luckily the host found us, so all was well, but it would be helpful to say which Appartment was the one when you arrive and not to assume everyone has seamless mobile communications! But once inside, everything was good 🙂

  Self contained apartment with kitchen and washing machine. Aircondtioned worked very welll. Loved the location. Feels like a home.
  
  What could be improved: Lots of stairs. Would be nice to have coffee pods provided for the coffee machine and a couple of extra sachets for the washing machine.

  Rozana greeted in person, the lane in old town was so narrow that the Google map direct us to a lane which hardly can turn to the car park. Eventually we managed to drive around & it showed us another route right to the parking underground. The parking is so small that when we leave we were stuck in the parking for over 30mins as 1 of the car should be illegally parked at the turning corner which prevent d us from exiting from the parking. Eventually I need to reverse the car & got my rented car dented & scratched!
  
  What could be improved: The location was so centralized that you can visit the most popular places of Seville in 1 day without entering to the site. Small apartment but enough for everything we need. It can be very noisy at night as there were 2 restaurants just down under the apartment so you can hear people taking, shouting after a few drinks.

  Great location – very central. Cosy bright comfortable apartment. Great shower and nice towels. Parking if needed is a 6 minute walk, we were met by Lidia who then walked to the apartment with us. Entry areas also very clean. We didn’t cook so can not comment on the kitchen facilities. There is a tapas bar below which was nice but didn’t cause any noise.
