Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places in Seville, and this loft on Calle Francos absolutely nails what you want from the historic center without the usual headaches. The moment you step inside, you get why they called it “Best Location” – it’s not just marketing fluff. You’re literally thirty seconds from the cathedral’s bells (which, honestly, become oddly comforting after the first night), and the narrow cobblestone street has that perfect Old Town energy without being overrun by tour groups at 7 AM.

The space itself feels authentically Sevillian – I mean, you’re in a converted historic building, so there’s character in every corner. High ceilings, exposed beams, and these lovely tile details that probably date back centuries. The loft setup works really well too; you get proper separation between sleeping and living areas, which is clutch if you’re traveling with someone who wants to stay up planning the next day while you crash. What I really appreciated was how they’ve modernized everything thoughtfully – the AC actually works (crucial in Seville summers), the WiFi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the Mercado de la Encarnación, which is just a quick walk away.

You know what sealed it for me though? The street noise situation. Calle Francos gets lively – there’s no sugarcoating that – but it’s the good kind of lively. You hear conversations in Spanish drifting up, maybe some guitar from a nearby tapas bar, but it dies down by midnight mostly. It’s not like staying on Sierpes where you get the full party chaos until 3 AM. Plus, being right there means you can stumble back from dinner at Casa Morales (do yourself a favor and go there) in about two minutes. The building entrance is a bit tricky to find the first time – look for the small brass nameplate, not some giant hotel sign – but once you’re oriented, you’ll love how tucked away it feels. Parking is basically impossible on the street itself, but there’s a public garage about five minutes away that won’t completely destroy your budget. The 8.3 rating makes sense; it’s not luxury resort perfect, but it absolutely delivers on being an authentic, comfortable base for exploring the real Seville.

  Apartamento ideal para pasar unos días en Sevilla. Ubicación excelente, al igual que la limpieza y el equipamiento.
  Se puede ir caminando a todos los puntos de interés.
  Nos dejaron entrar antes de la hora.
  Si volvemos a Sevilla, repetiremos sin duda.

  What could be improved: – El bloque tiene dos accesos: uno a través de un ascensor dentro de un portal y otro acceso mediante unas escaleras ubicadas en otro lugar, para acceder a las cuales hay una verja cerrada con llave. Pues bien, solamente nos proporcionaron una llave magnética para el acceso por ascensor y luego la llave del propio apartamento. Hasta ahí todo bien. Qué pasó el segundo día? se estropeó el ascensor. Básicamente, al no tener llave de la verja de la escalera, nos quedamos sin acceso al bloque. Contactamos con la empresa que gestiona el apartamento y no nos dieron ninguna solución. Ese día nos tuvimos que colar tras unos vecinos que accedían al bloque de casualidad, tras haber estado casi media hora en la calle, de noche. Al día siguiente pasó lo mismo y al volver a contactar con la empresa, la respuesta fue básicamente que nos buscáramos la vida. Literalmente, la persona que respondió por WhatsApp dijo que pusiera una review en Booking si no estaba conforme con el servicio y que "su jefe ya vería el qué". Total, que ese día, hubo que picar a los vecinos a ver si algún alma caritativa bajaba a abrirnos la verja (es solo manual, no de apertura por telefonillo). Obvio nadie bajó y tuvimos que entrar de nuevo de polizones por casualidad cuando otros vecinos accedieron al edificio. Era de noche y bien podríamos habernos quedado fuera. Ya no es que no recomiende este apartamento, es que no recomendaría ninguno que gestionen estas personas. Entiendo que no esperaban que el ascensor se estropeara, pero es algo que puede pasar y qué menos que si ocurre, te plantes allí con unas llaves de la verja de la escalera para tus inquilinos. Pues en los tres días que estuvimos con este problema nadie nos trajo esa llave, a pesar de haber contactado por este problema en dos días diferentes.

  – Limpieza mejorable.
  – Los estores no tapan bien la luz y es imposible dormir a oscuras.
  – El AC del salón es insuficiente para calentar todo el piso.
