You know what? Sometimes the most obvious spots actually turn out to be the best ones, and this little apartment on Calle Betis is exactly that kind of pleasant surprise. I mean, everyone walks along the Guadalquivir riverfront in Seville – it’s basically tourist central – but staying right there? That’s different. The address gives it away: you’re literally on the river’s edge in Triana, and honestly, waking up to those views of the Giralda across the water never gets old, even after a few days.
The thing about Calle Betis is that it gets lively – and I mean really lively – especially on weekend evenings when the tapas bars fill up and people spill onto the cobblestones. But here’s what’s clever about this place: it’s tucked into a quieter stretch where you get all the atmosphere without feeling like you’re sleeping above a party. The building itself has that worn-in Andalusian charm (the kind where the stairs creak just enough to feel authentic), and the apartment… well, it’s been done up nicely without losing its character. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s comfortable and well-equipped, but it’s not trying to be some fancy hotel suite.
What really sold me on the location was how easy everything became. Cross the Isabel II bridge and you’re in the heart of Seville’s old town in maybe ten minutes on foot. But staying in Triana means you’re actually living like locals do – there’s the morning bustle at the Mercado de Triana just a few blocks away, and those little ceramic shops that tourists hunt for but barely find in the main city center. Plus, parking (if you’re brave enough to drive in Seville) is actually manageable on this side of the river. The metro stop at Plaza de Armas is close enough when your feet give out from all that walking on cobblestones. And here’s something I didn’t expect – the sunsets from this side of the river are absolutely spectacular, especially if you grab a drink at one of the riverside terraces just steps from the building. The whole city lights up golden, and the Giralda looks like something from a postcard, except you’re living it instead of just photographing it. That 9.1 rating makes sense when you realize you’re getting prime real estate views without the premium hotel prices, and you’re staying somewhere that feels genuinely Sevillano rather than just tourist-friendly.

It was a beautiful flat, very well located near everything and in a very lively area. Clean and comfortable we were a party of 6 people and everybody sleep very well. Well equiped kitchen, washer, dishwasher etc. I recommend it 100% for a short or long stay. Hostess always there to help and very nice, thanks Maria for everything we surely will be back¡

The apartment is located in a very good area, near to main attractions from the city center (15 min by foot) but meanwhile in a quiet and pleasant street. Is a perfect apartment for 2 families, with rooms to sleep but also usefull common spaces – diningroom and the kitchen.
The host is perfect, a very efficient communication and excelent chech in / out policie.

All was just perfect, clean apartment, close to central area of the city, well equipped, comfortable beds, nice host (we were allowed to leave our luggage in the apartment in the last day till afternoon, when it was the time to leave to the airport)
