Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Boscos Apartments? It’s tucked away on Calle San Juan de la Palma in a way that feels genuinely local – I mean, you’re literally living in one of Seville’s most authentic old town streets, but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy. The building itself has that weathered Andalusian charm where the stonework tells stories, and honestly, walking up to it felt like I was visiting a friend who just happened to live in this incredible historic neighborhood.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious for old town Seville (anyone who’s stayed in the Barrio Santa Cruz knows how cramped things can get). What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep the original character – you’ve got those thick walls that actually keep the summer heat out, high ceilings that make everything feel airy, and windows that open onto street scenes that change throughout the day. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which matters when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the Mercado de la Encarnación just a few streets over and actually cook something decent. The Wi-Fi worked well – I spent a morning working from the little dining area and had no issues, though I kept getting distracted by the sounds of neighborhood life drifting up from the street.

Location-wise, you’re golden here. Plaza de la Encarnación with the Metropol Parasol is basically around the corner, and you can walk to the Cathedral in maybe ten minutes through these narrow streets that GPS can never quite figure out. But here’s the thing – you’re far enough from the main tourist drags that evenings feel peaceful, not like you’re camping outside a souvenir shop. I loved that I could walk to Calle Regina for proper tapas bars where locals actually eat, or wander over to the river without fighting crowds. The neighborhood has this rhythm to it – quiet mornings, bustling afternoons when people are shopping and running errands, then this lovely evening energy when everyone’s out for their paseo. Only downside is parking if you’ve got a car (honestly, just don’t drive in Seville’s old town), and some of the street-facing rooms catch a bit of noise during weekend nights, but that’s just city life. The 8.5 rating feels right – it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but for the price and location, it delivers exactly what you want from a Seville base.

    The apartment was beautiful and exactly as the photos showed. It was a really spacious apartment, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom was lovely. The highlight has to be the roof patio and plunge pool – especially in 38 degree heat!

    Great location as well, super quick to walk into the centre.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Boscos Apartments. Good communication leading up to our stay, easy to find (just some roadworks outside that stopped our taxi to go all the way there) and smooth “checkin” with the pre shared codes.

    Modern apartment containing everything you need for a comfortable stay in Seville. Great location close to attractions and restaurants.

    Extra shoutout to the team at Boscos for the fast actions during the major power outages that hit Spain during our stay as they swiftly disconnected the electric locks to the main door from the street – making it possible for all guests to access the apartments 🙏🏼

    The property was clean, comfortable, modern twist with floor. Nice balcony ( shared -plant box divided neighbour) Quiet but central. Corner shop practically next door and supermarket 500 metres away. Nice roof top terrace.
    Kitchen had all you needed / oven , hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, crockery, nicely laid out.
    Nice bathroom, good shower. Plenty of towels. Bed comfortable with extra pillows in spacious wardrobe.
    Owners supplied passed codes to gate and door along with WiFi code on the day of arrival.

    What could be improved: If you are old or nervous of stairs this apartment is not for you as there is steep stairs to the bedroom. For some this is a feature but for those who have difficulty with stairs this apartment is not for you. For me it was great.

    Property is lovely and clean. We were family of five and the apartment was a perfect choice. We had a broken door but the staff were really good at sorting it out quickly. The location is perfect! A walk away from all of the main attractions and super market as well. Will definitely love to visit again.

    What could be improved: The only negative is there isn’t a lot of lighting so it feels quite dark inside. Would love some more lights in the toilet so you can see you make up better

    Beautifully designed apartment. We had apartment 3 without a pool but with a huge stone dipping tub in the bathroom. The interiors were beautiful with no signs of aging that bothered us. Great location in the north of the city. Probably our favourite area to stay. Only thing is the apartment is not super bright due to it mainly being in a courtyard. The plug also needs fixing in the stone bath as it loses water immediately.
