Hotel Description
You know what’s funny about Seville? Everyone talks about the big tourist spots, but the real magic happens when you stumble into these tucked-away corners of the old town – and that’s exactly what Casa 1862 Heritage Suites feels like. I mean, Calle Santa Clara is literally a three-minute walk from the Cathedral, but it’s on this quiet little street where you can actually hear yourself think (unlike the madness around Plaza del Triunfo).
The building itself is gorgeous – honestly, you’d walk right past it if you weren’t looking for it, which is sort of perfect. It’s got that classic Sevillian thing going on with the whitewashed walls and iron balconies, but when you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cared about getting the details right. The tiles underfoot are original, I think – that slightly uneven feel you get in these old palaces that tells you they’ve been here a while. The suites themselves are spacious in a way that surprises you, especially if you’re used to European hotel rooms that barely fit your suitcase. Each one feels different too, which makes sense given the building’s age – some have these incredible high ceilings with exposed beams, others wrap around the interior courtyard where you can sit with morning coffee and not feel like you’re on display for every other guest.
What I really love about this place is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re close enough to everything that matters – the Alcázar is maybe a seven-minute walk, the Jewish Quarter is right there – but you’re also surrounded by actual life. There’s this little bar around the corner where locals grab their morning coffee (and honestly, better cortados than most of the tourist spots), and you’ll pass people heading to work, kids walking to school, that whole rhythm that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like you’re just… staying somewhere. The staff gets this too – they’re not trying to hustle you into flamenco shows or overpriced tapas tours, but if you ask about where to find good jamón or which churches are worth seeing, they actually know what they’re talking about. Parking can be tricky in this part of town (it always is in Barrio Santa Cruz), but they’ll sort you out with options nearby. The only thing I’d mention is that during Semana Santa or Feria, this whole area gets pretty intense – amazing to experience, but don’t expect quiet mornings on your balcony when there are processions passing every few hours. Otherwise though, this is the kind of place that makes you understand why people fall hard for Seville and start planning their next visit before they’ve even left.

The apartment is located in a super nice very old building which just got renovated. Everything was clean and great. The staff was super friendly. Because it’s so new there was a special offer and even a super cute surprise- included a bottle of wine food and a handwritten card!

We arrived at the hotel and found that it was self-check-in. We were a little worried at first, but when we opened the door, all our worries were gone. The lobby is very charming and cool, and we can take the elevator directly to the upper floor. The hotel doors are all password locks, which are very smart. The room is very clean and the facilities are super complete. My friend and I are very satisfied. All the facilities are complete, practical and new. The hotel is close to the city center, but not noisy. This satisfactory experience made me write these feelings naturally. I also fell in love with Seville because of this.

Brand new apartments, very well furnished and equipped. Nice neighbourhood, 20-30 minutes walking distance to old city (cathedral).
What could be improved: Just 2 minor issue:
1. We didn't like the pillows, they were very hard.
2. The air-conditioner in the bedroom blows directly to the bedJared from Singapore – 3 June 2025 (10/10)
Extreme value for money, apartment was in pristine condition, and as per what you see in the pictures for the booking. Location is slightlyy further out from the heart of the city, but in my opinion is perfect as it is still walking distance from the centre, plus you get the peace and quiet during your stay. Felt like quite a safe neighborhood too. Hosts were also nice enough to present us a welcome gift too! Would def recommend! 🙂

Our experience at Casa 1862 Heritage Suites by Stay Unique was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the quality of the accommodation: a spacious, bright apartment decorated in a modern yet cozy style that blends perfectly with Andalusian charm. Everything was spotlessly clean, and you can tell great attention is paid to the details — from the high-quality furniture to the amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. They even left us a lovely welcome gift with typical Sevillian gourmet products!
The bed was super comfortable — perfect for resting. Plus, the apartment was fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfy stay: air conditioning, coffee machine, kitchen utensils, soft towels, smart TV… absolutely nothing was missing!
The location is another big highlight: right in the historic center, but tucked away from the noise, so you can enjoy peace and quiet. It’s a short walk to the Cathedral, the Giralda, and tons of amazing tapas bars. I highly recommend trying Restaurante Eslava, just a few meters away — an absolute feast!!
The check-in process was quick and easy, with clear and friendly communication from the Stay Unique team. We felt welcomed from the very first moment.
In short: a 10/10 accommodation, perfect for a romantic getaway or a longer stay. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay in Seville so special!Sofia from Spain – 17 June 2025 (10/10)
Annet from Netherlands – 17 June 2025 (10/10)
