You know what struck me first about Casa 95 Sevilla? It’s this perfectly restored townhouse that actually feels like someone’s elegant home rather than another cookie-cutter hotel. I mean, when you’re walking down Alameda de Hércules – which, honestly, is one of those streets that feels authentically Sevillian without trying too hard – you almost miss the entrance because it blends so naturally into the neighborhood. The Alameda itself is this long, tree-lined promenade that locals use for their evening paseos, and you’ll find yourself doing the same thing after a day of sightseeing.

The thing about staying here is that you’re genuinely in the heart of things without dealing with the tourist chaos of the cathedral area. From your room (and the rooms here actually have character – high ceilings, original tiles, that sort of thing), you can walk to the Metropol Parasol in about ten minutes, or wander into the narrow streets of the old Jewish quarter just as easily. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being on a fairly busy street during the day. The building’s thick walls do their job, though you might catch the occasional sound of late-night conversations from the bars nearby – but that’s Seville for you, and honestly, it adds to the atmosphere rather than detracting from it.

The staff here – and this is something you don’t always get at four-star places – actually know the city well enough to give you recommendations that aren’t just the obvious tourist spots. They pointed me toward this tiny tapas place on Calle Peris Mencheta that I never would have found otherwise, and suggested the best times to visit the Alcázar to avoid the worst crowds. The check-in was smooth (they let me store luggage early, which was a lifesaver), and the common areas have this lived-in elegance that makes you want to linger with a book or just people-watch through the windows. I should mention that parking isn’t included and can be a bit of a puzzle in this neighborhood – but there’s a public garage about a five-minute walk away, and honestly, once you’re settled, you won’t need a car anyway. Everything worth seeing is either walkable or a quick metro ride away. The 8.8 rating this place gets makes perfect sense when you experience how they’ve managed to balance modern comfort with genuine Sevillian character – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it gets all the important stuff right.

  Very close to all the city main attractions, the neighbourhood Alameda de Hercules is vibrant with unlimited choices of open late food eateries, bar, cafes, nightclubs… the host was super gentle and welcoming and helpful, the room was clean, simple, comfortable and cozy. In opinion the proprietors have done a great job in details, in other words it’s a happy place.and I would definitely recommend it.

  We received a complimentary early check in. The room was exceptional. Clean and luxurious. The pool was a fabulous addition. The kitchen was well equipped with olive oil, sat and a coffee machine. Lots of attention to detail. Comfortable and welcoming. Location was brilliant. Close to some fabulous restaurants (recommended by the host)
