You know what struck me first about Casa Boutique Plaza de Armas? Walking up to that entrance on Calle Fray Diego de Deza, you’d almost miss it if you weren’t looking – it’s tucked into this gorgeous old townhouse that honestly looks like it belongs to some wealthy Sevillian family rather than a hotel. And I mean that in the best way possible. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that you’ve stumbled into something special rather than just another place to sleep. The staff actually remembers your name (not just because it’s small, but because they genuinely seem to care), and the whole vibe is more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s place than dealing with typical hotel bureaucracy.

The location is absolutely killer – you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Cathedral, and I’m not exaggerating when I say you can hear the bells from your room in the morning. Actually, that might sound annoying, but it’s surprisingly charming once you get used to it. What really sells this spot though is how you’re right in the thick of the old town without being on one of those tourist-clogged streets where you can’t move for selfie sticks. Calle Sierpes is right around the corner for shopping, and honestly, some of the best tapas bars I discovered were within a five-minute walk – places that don’t even have English menus because they’re still primarily for locals. The parking situation is… well, it’s Seville’s old town, so forget about driving here. But the taxi from Santa Justa station is cheap, and you really don’t need a car once you’re settled in.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail – and I don’t mean the generic “luxury touches” you read about everywhere. I’m talking about things like how they’ve preserved the original architectural elements (those ceiling beams are incredible) while somehow making everything feel completely modern and comfortable. The rooms have this perfect balance of old-world character and actual functionality – good WiFi, excellent air conditioning (crucial in Seville summers, trust me), and bathrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re camping. The breakfast setup isn’t huge, but everything is clearly sourced locally and changes based on what’s good that day. Plus, the woman who runs the breakfast service gave me better restaurant recommendations than any guidebook I’d read. Honestly, with a 9.5 rating, I was skeptical it could live up to the hype, but it actually exceeded my expectations – which doesn’t happen often anymore. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re experiencing authentic Seville rather than just passing through it, this is your spot.

  The hosts were very friendly and helpful! Ignacio met us there and took the time to show us around and gave us a list of recommendations. We enjoyed our trip to Seville and would stay at the apartment again if we return in the future.

  Great location in the old town it was easy to walk everywhere. A 30 min taxi from train station. Comfortable and beautiful designed.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was lovely. Just beware of the spiral stairs to the bedrooms a little tricky if you have larger bags. We had carry on so it was ok.

  Really easy to access, parking basically opposite, really easy check in, and easy to walk to all the main attractions of Sevilla.
  Three floors in total with the top room having its own patio, showers were all amazing, and it was nice and warm! (We visited in Feb)

  Great location, walking distance to main areas. Host was in contact prior to the stay and we were met promptly at arrival and given keys, guided to parking, and provided with tips and recommendations for visiting Seville.

  The townhouse is nicely designed and seems to be newly refurbished. It was near by a hotel which helped with finding taxis easily. The hosts were an amazing couple that welcomed us with warmth and put in the time and effort to recommend all the things to do within the city. They also were very helpful in booking places for us with quick responsiveness to any query we had. They also had a bidet spray which is always the best thing to have in bathrooms!
  
  What could be improved: Out of the hosts control but the stairs were steep and in a spiral which made the bags a little challenging to carry
