You know what? I’ve stayed in plenty of places in Seville’s old quarter, but Casa Palacio La Casa Blanca Suites actually gets it right. The location on Calle Conde de Ibarra is honestly perfect – you’re literally steps from the cathedral (I mean, you can hear the bells, but they’re not obnoxiously loud), yet tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that plague some of the main drags. The building itself is one of those converted palatial homes that Seville does so well, with that gorgeous central courtyard that stays cool even when it’s blazing outside. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend arriving after 3 PM because the narrow street can get a bit chaotic with delivery trucks earlier in the day.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to blend the historical character with actual modern comfort – and I say this as someone who’s suffered through plenty of “charming” places where the charm doesn’t extend to things like water pressure or air conditioning. The suites are spacious (rare for the old town), with those impossibly high ceilings that make you feel like Spanish royalty, but the bathrooms are completely updated and the AC works beautifully. The staff clearly knows their stuff too – they pointed me toward this little tapas place on Calle Mateos Gago that I never would have found otherwise, and when I mentioned wanting to avoid the crowds at the Alcázar, they suggested the perfect time to go (Tuesday morning around 10 AM, if you’re wondering).

Honestly, the 9.3 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there. It’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but everything just works. The courtyard is where you’ll probably end up spending your mornings with coffee – there’s something about the way the light filters through in the early hours that’s just… well, it’s why people fall in love with Seville in the first place. The location means you can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing, though fair warning – those cobblestones can be murder on your feet after a full day of sightseeing. One small thing: if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe request a room facing the courtyard rather than the street. It’s not noisy exactly, but you’ll get the occasional late-night reveler wandering back from the bars around Santa Cruz. That said, I’d absolutely stay here again – it’s got that sweet spot combination of authentic Sevillian atmosphere and actual comfort that’s harder to find than you’d think.

  This place is amazing. It is a short term stay place but unlike all the other places in Europe that have the text message very impersonal user experience this property actually takes the time to meet you and show you your room. we were even running late during fiesta time and the amazing woman at the front desk stayed to help us. The room was amazing the neighborhood is so cool and in a great place with balance of locals and tourists. The building and rooms were so great.

  Excellent location in the city centre, walking distance from main attractions and very close to supermarkets, pharmacy and restaurants. The apartment had plenty of space for our group of 5 adults. Great communication from the staff, and we were allowed to leave our luggage after checking out, which was great to explore the city a bit more before departing. We loved our stay!
  
  What could be improved: If I could mention just one thing it would be that the lift/elevator is small, but that's the standard in Europe honestly.

  Amazing location, close to everything. Penthouse with private terrace was amazing, beautiful views of the next door church and the various tall buildings around town.

  Excellent location close to all important monuments staff extremely helpful, apartment very quiet, comfortable bed and wonderful private patio.
  Only challenges were the arm of the couch was broken, shower door did not want to close and lighting did not always work

  This is a great apartment in a very convenient location. The main attractions (cathedral, parks, etc.) were only a 20 minute walk away. The area around the apartment was full of shops, restaurants and tapas. The train station is only also about a 20 minute walk away.
