You know what caught me off guard about Casa Pascual? The name promises tranquility right in the center, and honestly – it actually delivers on that. I mean, you’re literally on Pascual de Gayangos street, which puts you maybe a three-minute walk from the Cathedral (I timed it because I’m weird like that), but somehow this place feels like a little pocket of calm. The building itself has that classic Sevillian thing going on where the exterior looks pretty understated, but then you step inside and there’s this gorgeous interior courtyard that just makes you exhale. The tiles are original – or at least they look it – and there’s something about the way the light filters down in the afternoons that makes you want to just sit there with a book.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep the authentic feel without making you feel like you’re staying in a museum. The rooms are actually comfortable, not just Instagram-pretty. Good air conditioning too, which if you’ve been to Seville in July, you know is not negotiable. The beds are proper firm – none of that squishy tourist hotel nonsense – and the bathrooms have decent water pressure. Small thing, but when you’ve been walking around the old town all day (and trust me, you will be), a good shower matters. The staff actually knows the neighborhood too, which sounds obvious but isn’t always the case. They pointed me toward this little tapas place on Calle Mateos Gago that I never would have found otherwise, and it ended up being one of those perfect Seville moments where you’re eating jamón and drinking manzanilla while watching the world go by.

Here’s the thing about the location – you’re close enough to everything that matters, but you’re on a quieter street, so you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your door. The Alcázar is maybe a five-minute walk, and you can easily walk to the river or over to Triana when you want a change of scene. Parking is tricky like everywhere in the old town, but they’ll sort you out with options nearby. I stayed here in late spring when the weather was perfect, and I can imagine it gets busier in peak season, but the whole setup feels like it could handle crowds without losing that personal touch. The 8.6 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but it gets the important stuff right and has that indefinable quality that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something rather than just booked a room.

  Location – close to the centre of things without being on top of it all. The apartment was homely, you might say basic, but perfect for my needs.

  Located in a quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood in the historic center with bars, restaurants within short distance, this place is perfect if you want to spend a short stay in Sevilla. Very nice cozy apartment, clean, recently renovated and all above we really appreciated our host Sergio, who was really available, easy to reach.
  
  What could be improved: I would have appreciated finding a few more products in the bathroom instead of just one shower gel, and maybe a bottle of water in the fridge like I'm usually used to as welcome kit.

  Ótima localização a 1km do centro. Perfeito e equipado para passar uns dias em Sevilha, muito confortável e wc grande.
  
  What could be improved: Deviam fazer trocas de toalhas com regularidade porque estivemos 4 noites, fazia muito calor e tínhamos de tomar 2 banhos por dia. As toalhas ficaram muito sujas 😑

  Très bel appartement situé dans une rue calme, Bien équipé. Idéal pour tout visiter à pied sous réserve d'être bons marcheurs.
  La place d'Espagne est à 40 min à pied et l'alcazar et la cathédrale à 20 min.
  A deux pas le Guadalquivir pour une belle propriété.

  Siamo state 10 gg e l’appartamento è stato molto confortevole. Dotato di tutti i servizi necessari come doppi asciugamani, sapone per i piatti, condimenti, e colazione. Lo spazio è accogliente e il letto molto comodo. La via è molto silenziosa e il quartiere è comunque molto vissuto dai locali. In 15 minuti si arriva a piedi in centro e oltre fiume.
  
  What could be improved: Tutto stupendo forse solo che Ogni tanto usciva del cattivo odore dal bagno.
