CASA SEÑORIAL EN SEVILLA CENTRO,Calle Mármoles Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to CASA SEÑORIAL EN SEVILLA CENTRO,Calle Mármoles, you immediately understand why this place has such an incredible location score. I mean, you’re literally steps away from the Cathedral and Giralda — I could hear the bells from my window. The building itself has that classic Sevillian charm with its traditional facade, though honestly, don’t expect hotel-style amenities here. This is more like staying in a beautifully restored apartment right in the thick of everything that matters in Seville‘s old town.

The Heart of Historic Seville

The location is genuinely unbeatable — Calle Mármoles puts you within a two-minute walk of the Cathedral, and you can reach the Alcázar in about five minutes on foot. What I loved most was discovering the tiny tapas bars tucked into the surrounding streets that tourists walking the main routes completely miss. The Barrio Santa Cruz is right there, but you’re also close enough to cross into the Arenal district for evening drinks. You know what’s really convenient? The tram stop at Plaza Nueva is just around the corner, so getting to other parts of the city is actually pretty effortless.

The Space Itself

The apartment feels authentically Sevillian — high ceilings, traditional tiles, and windows that open onto the narrow street below. It’s not fancy in a modern sense, but there’s something genuinely charming about the old-world details. The kitchen is functional if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Mercado del Arenal, though honestly, with so many incredible restaurants within walking distance, I barely used it. The bathroom is compact but perfectly adequate, and the bedroom stays surprisingly cool even during Seville’s notorious summer heat.

Neighborhood Life

What struck me most was how you’re staying where locals actually live and work, not in some tourist bubble. There’s a small grocery store practically next door, and the morning routine of neighbors heading to work gives you a real sense of daily Sevillian life. The street can get a bit lively in the evenings — this is central Seville, after all — but it quiets down reasonably early. I actually enjoyed the sounds of the neighborhood settling in for the night, though light sleepers might want to pack earplugs just in case.

Why Guests Love It

The couples who rate this place so highly (apparently 9.5 out of 10) are onto something — there’s something genuinely romantic about wandering back through these narrow streets after dinner, knowing you’re staying in the real heart of one of Spain’s most beautiful cities. You’re not just visiting Seville’s historic center; you’re actually living in it for a few days. The value is excellent too, especially considering you’re paying a fraction of what the nearby hotels charge while getting an infinitely better location. Sure, you won’t have room service or a concierge, but when the Cathedral is literally around the corner and the best tapas bars in the city are on your doorstep, who needs them?

Hotels in Seville hug orange-lined plazas, azulejo patios, and cathedral spires.

Reviews of CASA SEÑORIAL EN SEVILLA CENTRO,Calle Mármoles

  • Peter from Slovakia – 11 June 2025 (9/10)

The apartment was incredible. It was spacious, well-equipped, and decorated with antique furniture and accessories. We were pleasantly surprised by the piano. This accommodation will be appreciated by those who love classic-style furniture and artistic touches. The city center, the landmarks were very close, as were tapas bars and restaurants.

  • Sandra from United Kingdom – 27 April 2025 (9/10)

Excellent location, comfortable beds, beautiful spacious apartment.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Marina from North Macedonia – 27 February 2025 (9/10)

Highly recommend the Marmoles house! The interior is amazing, fantastic design, specious and clean. The location is great! Walking distance to all the attractions. A lot of restaurants, bar and markets near by. Perfect stay!

  • Diogo from Portugal – 13 July 2024 (9/10)

Location is excellent, very central as you can walk pretty much everywhere. Carlos was very friendly and accommodating and assisted us promptly with any questions we had.

What could be improved: The bathroom is en suite located inside the master bedroom, which if your travelling with friends can make it complicated to manage showers when others are getting dressed. An extra toilet is available next to the lounge area. It worked out OK for us, but bare that in mind.

  • Jeffrey from United States – 10 May 2024 (9/10)

A beautiful, large and comfortable apartment in the midst of the old town. It is convenient, grand, and well decorated. Highly recommend this apartment for multi day stays.

What could be improved: The remote host worked well enough but I still like seeing and working through real humans. Cleaning fee, though not too bad for a multi day stay, is a bit hidden on the website so it looks cheaper than it is

  • Grant from Australia – 11 October 2023 (8/10)

Very beautiful apartment in a good location near to all the sights. Easy to access the building and happy that it was on the ground floor

What could be improved: Too many ornaments. I was frightened I would break some and too much religious iconography in the bedroom

I could have spent weeks in this apartment and still have been noticing things for the first time.

  • Anne from Spain – 30 March 2023 (9/10)

The location is excellent, smack in the middle of the historical center and 5 mins walking to Santa Cruz. It is a bottom floor large apartment, which is a home for someone, well decorated (typically Sevillian elegant style). It´s fresh and cool (welcome when coming in from the heat), although I noticed heaters were available in all areas which may be used during winter. Great wifi, and a working desk is available. Well stocked kitchen w everything you can imagine for cooking needs. Hair dryer and iron available, and many sturdy clothes hangers in large closets were available. Due to the location, there is noise from the street starting in the morning (no cars, but, people talking in the street). In the evening it gets quiet, and you sleep well. 2 bedrooms (1 large w bathroom en suite, 1 smaller, w a courtesy toilet next to it). Piano, 2 living rooms, light coming from glass panels in the ceiling, and some windows going to the outside. You can catch a cab to a plaza that is at 1 min walking distance where there is a Petit Palace hotel. Owner friendly, and quick and easy communication upon arrival and throughout the stay. Recommended.

What could be improved: I think the number of the street was wrong in Booking, but I just called the owner and walked a few steps ahead. Also, there were 2 "lockers" with the keys, 1 on the street, and 1 in the hall way – I hadn´t quite understood that, but, it was quickly resolved, so no issue at all.
