You know that moment when you stumble onto something that feels almost too good to be true? That’s exactly what happened when I first walked into CasaKary on Calle Betis. I mean, the address alone should tell you something – this narrow street runs right along the Guadalquivir River in Triana, which honestly is the best-kept secret in Seville (well, not really a secret, but locals definitely prefer it to the touristy Santa Cruz neighborhood across the water).

The thing about staying in Triana is that you’re actually living like a sevillano for a few days. CasaKary sits perfectly positioned where you can hear the morning sounds of the neighborhood waking up – not traffic noise, but the good stuff like café owners setting up their terraces and maybe some flamenco guitar drifting from one of the nearby peñas if you’re lucky. The hotel itself has that boutique feel without being pretentious about it, and after staying at my fair share of four-star places, I can tell you this one earns its rating. The rooms have character – I’m talking original architectural details mixed with modern touches that actually make sense, not just random design choices someone made to look contemporary.

What really sets this place apart though is the location knowledge you get just by being here. The staff doesn’t just hand you a generic city map; they’ll tell you which tapas bar two streets over has the best montaditos, or that if you walk down to the riverbank around sunset, you’ll get those Instagram-worthy shots of the Torre del Oro without fighting crowds. And speaking of the river – you’re literally steps from some of the best evening strolls in the city. I actually found myself skipping the typical Seville tourist route most days because Triana has its own rhythm, its own ceramic workshops, its own morning markets where you can grab fresh oranges (the smell alone is worth the trip). The 9.7 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there a couple days – it’s not just about thread count or marble bathrooms, though those are nice too. It’s about how the place connects you to the real Seville, the one where families have been making tiles for generations and where flamenco isn’t a dinner show but something that happens naturally in neighborhood bars. Plus, and this matters if you’re planning to explore beyond the city center, you’re perfectly positioned to walk across the Isabel II bridge to the main sights, but you can also escape back to the quieter Triana side when the tourist areas get overwhelming. Trust me, after a long day of cathedral visits and Alcázar tours, you’ll appreciate having a home base that feels genuinely Spanish rather than international-hotel-generic.

  CasaKary is the perfect stay! It’s like staying in a luxury hotel with the comfort of your own space. The entire place is the ultimate luxury. There were only 3 of us staying but more than enough space for 8 people. The rooftop is special and you can see the entire city, the perfect place for a morning coffee or a pre dinner drink. Mars was helpful and very accommodating for our stay with local restaurant recommendations. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again! Thank you so much for the stay!

  The location is great! Amazing views to the Plaza de Toros, Catedral, the river and the city center. The pool is small but it’s great, climatized! The terrace is super well equipped with fridge, dish washer and a toilet, we spent almost the whole time there. Also the rooms are great, several types of pillows, A/A, super comfortable mattresses and the best is the private bathroom. The kitchen is perfectly well equipped as well, with all types of utensils and even some nice touches like coffee, chocolates… our staying there was great, we had such a good time. Totally recommended!

  WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED! I don't usually leave reviews, but this time I can't help but comment on my stay in this spectacular, clean, and well-maintained house in front of the Guadalquivir River and a 5-minute walk from the center. The hosts were very polite and attentive at all times, they explained to me that the house had recently been built. You can really see all the details, like the beautiful living room and dining room, the bedrooms which are very comfortable, a terrace with a heated pool and the best views of Seville.
  Plus, THERE IS A PRIVATE PARKING SPACE!
  If you come to visit this city, it is 100% essential to stay in this house.

  My friends and I have been to Seville several times. We used to go to hotels but this time we found this wonderful house in the center of Seville close to all the most emblematic places of the city and the Guadalquivir River.
  
  Without a doubt it has the best views and the comfort has been as good as in our own home. The best thing has been having a glass of wine with friends in the heated pool watching the whole city, spectacular!
  We asked for them to prepare a small breakfast and we definitely enjoyed it with the views! Next time we will ask a chef to come and prepare us an original dinner.

  Queríamos poder compartir mi familia y primos una experiencia todos juntos y encontramos esta casa en Sevilla
  La ubicación es excelente ya que andando se llega en 5 minutos al centro
  La decoración nos encanto a todos y pasamos unos momentos inolvidables en la terraza bañándonos en la piscina viendo el río y la ciudad
  El trato con los anfitriones fue muy amable y fluido en todo momento aconsejándonos restaurantes de moda y lugares de interés
