You know what caught me off guard about Casas de Sevilla? It’s not actually a hotel at all – it’s these beautifully converted apartments right in the heart of Seville’s old quarter, and honestly, that makes all the difference. The moment you step through the door at Cuna 41, you’re basically living like a local in one of the city’s most atmospheric neighborhoods.

The location is just ridiculous (in the best way). You’re literally steps from the Cathedral – I mean, you can hear the bells from your window, which is either charming or slightly annoying depending on how late you stayed out in Barrio Santa Cruz the night before. But here’s the thing about being right on Cuna street: you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters, yet tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos that hits some of the main drags. The narrow cobblestone streets around here are perfect for those early morning coffee runs before the tour groups arrive – there’s this little café around the corner that serves the kind of cortado that’ll ruin Starbucks for you forever.

What I really appreciate about these apartments is how they’ve managed to keep that authentic Sevillian feel without skimping on the modern stuff you actually need. The spaces feel genuinely lived-in rather than sterile hotel-room clean, if that makes sense. You’ve got proper kitchens (which is clutch when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the Mercado de Feria and cook something simple), and the Wi-Fi actually works well enough for video calls – learned that the hard way on a work trip. The 8.2 rating seems about right; it’s not perfection, but it’s the kind of place where the character outweighs any minor quirks. Sometimes the hot water takes a minute to kick in, and the old building means you’ll hear your neighbors occasionally, but that’s part of the charm of staying in a centuries-old neighborhood.

Parking is… well, it’s Seville’s old town, so forget about driving here. But the thing is, you won’t miss it. Everything you want to see – the Alcázar, the Cathedral, those incredible tapas bars along Calle Mateos Gago – it’s all within a 10-minute walk. Plus, you’re perfectly positioned for those evening paseos along the Guadalquivir when the temperature finally drops and the whole city comes alive. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re actually experiencing Seville rather than just visiting it.

  The location was unbeatable. Meet and greet was great. Parking was close by and easy to use. Lift to the floor. The apartment was clean and tidy. Really enjoyed our stay.

  The apartment is located in a great location near to the main attraction that you need to see. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the host was helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The only little thing that could tern the apartment to perfect is adding more soap and basic products like salt and oil. For the money we payed it was expected.

  The location was great. The apartment was conveniently located to what we wanted to see. It was also clean and spacious.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was located in a pedestrian-only zone. That was good. However, because this zone is one of the busiest and most popular shopping areas in the city, the front bedroom caught a lot of noise from the street until late in the night.
