Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and Casas de Sevilla on Calle Vidrio really gets it right. You know that feeling when you walk into a place and immediately think “okay, someone who actually lives here designed this”? That’s exactly what happened when I first stepped into one of their apartments. The name literally means “glass street” and honestly, there’s something almost magical about how the light filters through the narrow windows in the morning – you’re right in the thick of the old town but these apartments feel like little sanctuaries tucked away from all the tourist chaos.
What I love about this place is how they’ve managed to keep that authentic Sevillian character without making you feel like you’re sleeping in a museum. The apartments are genuinely spacious (which, if you’ve tried to find decent space in the old quarter, you know is basically a miracle), and they’ve got proper kitchens – not those sad little kitchenettes with a mini-fridge and a prayer. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from Mercado de la Encarnación if you want to grab fresh ingredients, and about the same distance from some of the best tapas bars that locals actually frequent. The street itself is pretty quiet considering you’re so central, though you will hear the occasional late-night reveler wandering back from Alameda – but honestly, that’s just part of the Seville experience.
The thing that really sold me on this place is the attention to detail that you don’t usually get from aparthotels. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, the staff actually knows the neighborhood (they gave me a heads up about which days the nearby church bells are particularly enthusiastic), and the apartments stay cool even during those brutal July afternoons when the rest of Seville feels like a furnace. You’re close enough to walk to the Cathedral and Alcázar without breaking a sweat, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you can actually get some sleep. Plus, and this might sound silly, but having a proper apartment setup means you can buy those amazing local oranges and olives and actually enjoy them properly instead of eating them standing up on some random street corner. The 8.9 rating makes total sense – it’s the kind of place that gets the big things right and doesn’t overlook the small stuff that actually matters when you’re trying to live like a local for a few days.

Comfortable and quiet place. Renovated location and with all the basics for couple of days in Sevilla.

Fantastic location, very clean and quiet apartment. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe in the apartment and in the area at night. Clear and secure instructions for entry. Apartment has more than enough amenities for a short stay!
What could be improved: On the ground floor apartment looking into courtyard, it is dark all through the day. The sun doesn't reach the windows so if you are looking to be woken by sunlight or have a view in the morning, ground floor won't be ideal but I was out all day so didn't mindIryna from United Kingdom – 11 April 2025 (9/10)
It was very quiet, I loved it. And close to main attractions. Highly recommend.

Great loft apartment in excellent location. Host made check-in easy.
What could be improved: Closest parking lot was full. Next closest was a bit of a hike, but well worth it.Shu from Canada – 23 March 2025 (9/10)
Good lord cation. In between train station and the sightseeing area. Lots of restaurants around. Should provide some dish wash soap.

Beautiful and very comfortable apartment in a perfect location. The street is quiet and only a few minutes away from the busy city centre and 10 minute drive to the train station.

Beautiful loft apartment. Liked everything, the decor, the cleanliness, the comfy bed, great shower. Location was perfect to walk (15/20 mins) to all main attractions, shops, bus stop at Santa Justa station to travel to/from airport (EA line) Many cafes and shops on doorstep of apartment also.
