You know what hit me first when I walked into this duplex on Calle Francos? The light. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Seville’s old town – we’re talking narrow medieval streets where some places feel like caves – but somehow this place just glows. The duplex layout actually works brilliantly here because you get that traditional Sevillian ground floor vibe, then climb up to find this gorgeous terrace that honestly feels like your own private slice of the neighborhood.

The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the absolute chaos of the main tourist drags. Calle Francos is one of those streets where you’ll see more locals grabbing their morning coffee than tour groups (at least until about 10 AM), and you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Cathedral – I timed it because I’m weird like that. The building itself has that classic Andalusian charm, thick walls that keep things cool even when it’s blazing outside, which is a godsend in summer. Fair warning though, the streets can get a bit lively on weekend nights since you’re so close to all the tapas action, but honestly the sound of people enjoying themselves never bothered me much.

What really sets this place apart is that terrace – and I’ve stayed in a lot of places claiming to have great outdoor spaces. This one actually delivers. It’s not huge, but it’s perfectly positioned to catch the evening light, and there’s something magical about having your morning coffee up there while listening to the city wake up below. The neighborhood cats make their rounds (very Seville), church bells mark the hours, and you get these glimpses of other rooftops and terraces that make you feel like you’re part of some secret residential community. The duplex setup means you’ve got real separation between your sleeping space downstairs and living area upstairs, which is surprisingly rare in old town apartments. Plus, the owners clearly know what they’re doing – everything works properly, the Wi-Fi is solid, and they’ve managed to blend modern comfort with authentic character without making it feel like a museum. I actually extended my stay an extra night because leaving felt premature, and that 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next Seville trip before you’ve even checked out.

  The location and the terrace are unbeatable. All the basics were available and we had nothing to worry about, I wholeheartedly recommend for 2/3 people.

  Two floor apt with a great, private terrace on the roof. We were in Seville in mid January so we had breakfast and spent most mornings on the terrace soaking up the sun.
  
  Location is perfect, with everything you want to visit within walking distance. It has dishwasher, washing machine, ac on both floors. A small but functional kitchen and plenty of wardrobe space.

  De centrale ligging en het dakterras vonden wij geweldig. Verder grepen we nergens op mis en was het appartenent zo te zien zeer recent helemaal opgeknapt.

  Waar we alleen geen rekening mee hadden gehouden is dat we daar waren in de Semama Santa dus was het erg druk, zeker ook in ons straatje, waardoor we regelmatig enkele uren niet in of uit ons appartement konden.
