Honestly, when I first walked into this duplex on Calle San Nicolás, I thought there might be some mistake – this can’t possibly be just a rental, right? The place feels more like someone’s gorgeous private home that they happen to let travelers borrow. You’re literally one minute from the Cathedral (and I mean literally, not travel-website literally), which sounds almost too good to be true until you realize you can actually hear the bells from inside the apartment. Some people might find that charming, others… well, just know it happens.
The three bedrooms are spread across two floors in that clever way that makes the space feel way bigger than it actually is. What really got me was the attention to detail – the kind of stuff that tells you someone actually cares about this place rather than just cramming in furniture and calling it luxury. The bathrooms are genuinely nice (you know how hit-or-miss rental bathrooms can be), and the kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to cook, which is perfect because the Mercado de la Encarnación is just a few blocks away. I mean, you’re in the heart of Barrio de Santa Cruz here, so you’ve got incredible restaurants everywhere, but sometimes you just want to grab some jamón and cheese and eat it at home, you know?
Here’s what I wish someone had told me beforehand – parking is basically impossible right outside, but there’s a decent underground garage about three blocks away on Calle Sierpes. Also, the narrow streets mean luggage with wheels can be a bit of a pain, but honestly, that’s true for most of the old town. The trade-off is worth it though, because you’re walking distance from literally everything that matters. Plaza de Armas is close enough for day trips, the Alcázar is a five-minute stroll, and you can stumble home from the tapas bars around Plaza del Salvador without needing to figure out directions. Actually, that whole area gets pretty lively at night – not crazy loud, but there’s definitely energy in the streets, especially on weekends. The apartment itself stays surprisingly quiet though, probably because it’s set back from the main pedestrian flow. I stayed there in April and the weather was perfect for keeping the windows open, though I imagine summer might be a different story with the heat and the crowds.

Wonderful duplex apartment very conveniently situated close to all the main attractions and local restaurants and bars. Spotlessly clean, very safe, and well equipped with aircon throughout and ceiling fans to supplement. Amazingly quiet situation despite only a 50 metre walk to the main street and within 5 mins walk of the Alcazar and Cathedral. Great transport links close by including tram stop and.airport bus. Extremely helpful and attentive host via messaging. Don't hesitate if you are thinking of booking, this apartment has all you need for a short or longer break in this fabulous city!

The perfect spot to be and a lovely, comfortable and exceptionally clean property. Great communication from Maria. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen even though we didn't need to cook. Beds were very comfortable.
What could be improved: There was nothing we didn't like. Just be sure that you read the fine print if you can't manage stairs because the bedrooms are in the upper level. Also is you are bringing a car, map out the parking ramp first and not the property. We spent a lot of time trying to get to the ramp looking at the house address not understanding how streets are laid out. The apartment was very pretty and comfortable. Maria had everything a traveler would need, including three European travel plugs, which were very useful, toiletries, instructions and recommendations in both English and Spanish.

There was so much thought out into everything. Location was great and the place was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was strong for the Seville summers. Lots of local charm with the property. The property manager was great, super responsive, and had tons of information.
What could be improved: Only small things like inconvenient toilet paper locations, no dryer so you have to figure out how to use a clothesline which might be foreign for some. Location could be loud at night since it is close to main streets.
