Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Seville’s old town, and honestly, most of them are either touristy hotels that charge you extra for breathing or cramped apartments where you can hear your neighbor’s entire life story through paper-thin walls. Cervantes Studios 6 is different though – it’s tucked away on this narrow street that feels like the real Seville, you know? When I first walked up to Calle Cervantes 17B, I actually passed it twice because it doesn’t scream “hotel” at you. It’s more like… well, it’s like staying at your well-traveled friend’s place, if your friend happened to have impeccable taste and knew exactly how to make a small space feel both cozy and sophisticated.

The studios themselves are what got me. I mean, they’re not huge – this is the old town, so you’re not getting some sprawling American-style suite – but everything just works. The kitchenette is actually functional (I made proper coffee every morning, not that instant stuff), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that made me not want to leave. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, which is honestly surprising because you’re right in the heart of everything. I could walk to the Cathedral in maybe eight minutes, hit up those tapas bars on Calle Mateos Gago without breaking a sweat, but somehow the street itself stays peaceful after about 10 PM. The building has thick walls – you can tell it’s old, but old in that charming way where everything feels solid and permanent.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before I booked: parking is basically impossible right outside (welcome to Seville’s old town), but there’s a decent public garage about a five-minute walk away if you’re driving. Also, the check-in process is super smooth – they actually met me at the property, which was a relief after dragging my suitcase over those cobblestones. The neighborhood comes alive around 8 PM when locals start heading out for dinner, and there’s this little bakery two blocks down that opens ridiculously early if you’re the type who needs real bread with your morning coffee. I ended up extending my stay by two nights because, honestly, I just didn’t want to deal with finding another place that felt this right. It’s got that sweet spot of being authentic without being uncomfortable, central without being chaotic. If you’re looking for a pool and room service, this isn’t your place – but if you want to actually live in Seville for a few days instead of just visiting it, this is exactly where you want to be.

  The apartment was perfect and in an excellent location. It was really quiet but only a short distance to all the highlights of Seville. We felt safe and secure. Alicia left some chocolates and lemonade for us as a welcome, and checked in with us to see if everything was ok. The apartment had everything you needed, washing machine, dishwasher, aircon, alot of thought has gone into it all, it was very clean. The small outside area was perfect for lounging in the warm evenings. We had a lovely time as a family with two small children. Thank you.

  The location is excellent. The property owner has thought of everything, even things that most others don’t, like a flat iron for ladies hair, clothes drying rack, etc. The apartment is spacious. The fridge was stocked with water and milk for coffee. The Kutcher had everything to make light meals or breakfast. Overall we liked the place.
  
  What could be improved: Parking was a bit of an issue but this was more to do with it being Easter weekend “semana Santa” which the owner told us about in advance and we ended up parking about a mile away to be able to get out of the area on Easter Sunday.

  I have stayed in six hotels in Spain, and the service of this hotel is the best, and it is also the cleanest. The hotel owner gave us excellent parking suggestions, which also helped us save a lot of money. We are very grateful for his warm hospitality and practical advice.

  Immaculately clean, fully equipped (cosmetics, bed linen, coffee, heating and air conditioning). The pictures are absolutely true to reality, spacious, stylish, comfortable accommodation. The host responded promptly, gave instructions on everything what we needed, was exceptionally kind and handled any situation that arose in a professional manner, despite the fact that we had not even met. She even gave us small gifts.
  The location of the studio is also excellent. Supermarket two minutes away, the street is extremely quiet, but one corner within a block of bars, shops, walking street, church and Setas. All the tourist attractions were within easy walking distance. We went in January, the town is full of orange trees, which are ripe at this time of year. We could have coffee and tapas outside on the terrace in our coats everywhere. There are fewer tourists at this time of year. There are many places nearby that are visited by locals. I recommend it for anyone up to 4 people or couples. (Transfer: we took the bus and walked up, it's a bit adventurous to walk with our suitcases, on the way back we got a taxi, it takes 20-30 minutes to get to the airport.)

  Perfect spot to visit Seville. The city center and the main tourist highlights are within walking distance of the apartment. The apartment itself is simply wonderful (comfortable and super clean) and located in a quiet courtyard. The host is very helpful en quick to respond to questions.
