Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about CH Apartments Boutique? It’s actually tucked away on this tiny street called Daoiz that most tourists walk right past – and honestly, that’s part of its charm. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Seville’s old town, but it feels like you’ve discovered some local secret. The building itself has that authentic Andalusian vibe without trying too hard, if that makes sense. No fake rustic nonsense or overdone “boutique” styling that screams tourist trap.

The apartments themselves are… well, they’re what boutique hotels should be but rarely are. Each one feels different – I stayed in one with these gorgeous original tile floors that were probably ice-cold in winter but perfect for Seville’s brutal summer heat. The kitchenettes are actually functional (you can make real coffee, not just instant), and the bathrooms have proper water pressure, which honestly can be hit-or-miss in these historic buildings. What really got me was the attention to small stuff – good lighting for reading, enough outlets near the bed, and windows that actually block out the sound from the narrow streets below. Though I’ll be real with you, if you’re here during Semana Santa or Feria, you’ll hear the processions and celebrations regardless, but that’s kind of the point of staying in the old town, right?

The location is pretty much perfect for walking everywhere that matters. You’re maybe three minutes from the Cathedral – I could literally hear the bells from my window – and the Alcázar is close enough that you can pop back to drop off shopping bags or escape the midday sun. The staff seems to actually live in Seville (shocking, I know), so when they recommend that little tapas place on Calle Mateos Gago or tell you to avoid the tourist-trap flamenco shows near the Cathedral, they know what they’re talking about. Parking is basically impossible on the street, but there’s a public garage about a five-minute walk away – just factor that into your budget because it’s not cheap. Check-in was surprisingly smooth for a smaller place, and they were flexible when my train from Madrid ran late. The 9.4 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places that gets all the fundamentals right without any dramatic flourishes, which honestly is exactly what you want when you’re trying to experience Seville rather than just survive it.

    The location is excellent. The centre of Sevilla can be easily reached by foot but the apartments itself are at a more quiet and cosy square. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Also the host is very nice and has some good restaurant tips!

    What could be improved: We have had several rooms over the years, some are nicer than others, especially the higher located rooms have more natural light.

    Amazing location with all the sights within walking distance. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.
    Stunning apartment, gorgeous roof terrace, comfortable bed and Olga was so hospitable and had great recommendations for everything!

    The apartment in Sevilla was gorgeous. We had a room, a kitchen+living room with pull-out couch and a big bathroom. Olga, the host, is very kind and helpful and gave us very useful tips. The building is beautiful with a gorgeous arab-style inner court. There is also a small rooftop with a pool and a nice view over the city. The structure is located near the main attractions (15 min from the Cathedral), facing a small plaza with nice bars. Rooms are very quiet.

    What could be improved: I write it here just as a heads-up, even though it does not have anything do to with the hotel: if you plan to travel in Andalucia by car, make sure you rent the smallest possible car. If you are planning to reach the hotel by car, keep in mind that streets in city centers are very narrow. It can be challenging if you are not used to it.
